To improve lives by mobilizing caring power of community to advance common good.
Non- Profit: means neither commercial nor purely governmental enterprise but independent community organization that operates without intent to make a profit. All the revenue is used to accomplish the organization’s mission except for what is needed to find reasonable administration.
Community Chest works to create strategies to improve lives in both the long and short term, an example among many would be putting a significant effort into feeding families today, and also improving the conditions that cause poverty and hunger. This is the kind of short/long term strategies the Community Chest undergoes to ensure the change necessary so that there are less hungry families in the future.
