Arts and Teaching Initiative NPC aims towards:
Extending the three Arts & Culture Educator Projects to the remotest rural areas of the Eastern Cape.
Extending the training to learners, educators and artists with the specific goal of developing the necessary skills that would lead to self employment and managing, project plan development, presentation skills ,etc.
Ensuring sustainability through the offering of paid training session in the variety of needs-based areas.
Broadening of the scope into other areas of dire need, i.e technology education.
Providing a development forum for artist-educators.
Becoming fully involved in the skills Development process and the implementation of arts and crafts learnerships.
To impart an art teaching methology that will enhance educators' skills in arts and culture training.
To promote arts and culture training as an equal partner sharing equal status with other learning areas.
To train and empower community artists.
To provide employment for unemployed artists.
To assist with sustaining education support structure within the communities of the Western Region in collaboration with the partners.
To promote cross-cultural integration.
