Ikhala Trust supports confident, vibrant organisations able to envision and catalyze positive change in their communities. "Ikhala" is the isiXhosa word for "aloe." Aloes thrive in adverse conditions, much as the organisations supported by Ikhala Trust does.
Ikhala was established as a delegated fund to share information, strategies, resources and to network with a range of stakeholders in and outside the province.

in order to uplift and support small community based initiatives in the most disadvantaged areas of the Eastern Cape Province, through the provision of grant funding and the facilitation of Capacity Development support.
