I must say, what a turn around in attitude. Was greeted with so much enthusiasm this morning! Thank you. Below was my review a few weeks ago. The staff is extremely unfriendly and grumpy compared to the one near blue route. They have no customer service skills at all. You ask them a question and they don't even look at you. You should employ staff who enjoys dealing with people! 3 days in a row I went for Banting crackers. Same attitude different staff and still no stock!
What a lovely store. A great selection of products without the high premium mark ups. I had to control myself from not buying too much. Lovely range of cookies, crackers, rusks, cakes, muffins, seafood, puddings, etc. Spacious and clean and such a pleasure to shop. Cherry on the cake is the friendly staff, just made it my favourite little store.
What a disappointment. Fridges can't be opened during load shedding, staff can't answer, people leaving there full baskets because they want something out the fridge. All I wanted was a water. Will not be telling people to support this shop. Really disappointed. Martin's is far better from up the road.
A great shop to get some of your baked favourites. Here you will quality biscuits, loaf cakes, oven puddings, other pastries, rusks and more. The prices are very affordable as some of the products are broken or not perfectly packaged. But this does not compromise on taste. Parking is free. Wheelchair accessible entrance.
The shop has been upgraded and they now stock fish and other perishable products, such as eggs. Great to see more variety being introduced.
I visited the shop on 3 previous occasions and purchased a few items and was happy. I picked up some cake for my daughter's birthday yesterday ,October 2,2021 and sell by date was best before 6th October.The cake was so dry and we couldn't eat it. I was very disappointed as I was forced to go to Woolworth's in Ladies Mile later the evening.
I understand one has to wear a mask . I did not have one but made sure my nose and mouth was covered . The one african lady behind the counter was very rude . She asked where is my mask , I said I do not have one but my nose and mouth is covered. She rudly replies to me " then leave and get one " . No need to be rude to your paying clients .
It's not a large shop with an extensive variety but boy oh boy you get good quality confectionery goodies at very reduced prices. The ideal is to get there when the delivery truck arrives. There's always a bit of fussing about getting what you'd like but we've always come away with what we wanted. Although people have to be patient there's always a nice vibe and consideration for others, amongst the regulars.
Great place to buy all your Woolworths off cuts. Very good prices and the staff are always friendly. Best to call them before you go to check if the new stock has arrived as their Malva puddings and Cupcakes sell out quickly.
My first experience at this store. I've driven po set this store so often. If you don't know it's there you drive right past without knowing it's there. Such a lovely store for nibbles and more especially for those that loves items from the bakery quisine. Even got my pickle fish there. Karin
