Have lived here going on over two years. In the 2 years I’ve lived here I’ve seen this complex become what were “luxury” downtown apartments to a building most the time lined with animal hair & waste through the elevators, stairwells, and other common areas or even just garbage from other tenants, to the point where i don’t even like bringing guests anymore from embarrassment because you never know what you’re walking into. When offered my new lease proposal it was left out the possible “changes” in monthly fees include a new $100 parking fee on top of the rent increase for a garage where your “assigned” spot gets taken and the car in your spot will just get a nice warning sticker on their car as you’re left paying for a lot next to the building for a night. Would have been nice to know before hand to influence my renewal decision, as a long term tenant i feel blindsided just hoping the next year flies. Only good thing i really have to compliment is the maintenance team they do great , for the price of the units and the building presentation i would not recommend living here.
The management doesn’t seem to be on top of things. My neighbors above me urinated on my balcony, and when I complained nothing was done. The female who is the leasing manager who replaced Ashley I assume has very poor customer service skills, she does not email tenants back. Some of the people who live here are gross. They drag there trash so our wonderful hall carpets are dirty! The washers and dryers are FULL of dog hair. I’m so embarrassed to bring anyone to my “luxury” apartment because of the filth. There are tons of people partying who are in and out of here. Someone even threw up outside my door. What a sad experience for a $1600 luxury studio. So so sad! Oh and they made sure to delete my last review. Do better!
Great apartment. Affordable prices. Maintenance is taken care quickly. Josh did great job fixing stuff quickly and is very polite.
Submitted a maintenance request bc my closet door wasn’t shutting completely. Got a super quick response, and Josh fixed my closet door in a matter of minutes. Also, he was super friendly. Thanks team!
Friendly and accommodating agents helped me move into this place, and they were flexible as well. Josh from maintenance was very helpful, and David was great getting my lease signed.
The maintenance tech, AJ always does a great job and is very responsive. I had an issue with my heat and after fixing it, AJ took the time to explain to me in detail what had been causing the issue. Thanks again, AJ!
I’ve been here almost a year now an I love it the 14th floor where u can play pool or even just hang is so fun they are super dog friendly here my neighbors are amazing if I ever have a maintenance emergency or anything AJ an josh are on top of it right away I love this community
Place was great, everyone was very friends. Mr. Peanut tiny doggy was adorable. If i choose another place itll be because of personal preferences.
I’ve been living here a couple months and Alicia, Josh, and AJ are on top of things from the office and maintenance. I’ve had a handful of requests, and even the odd ones have been addressed. Very accommodating staff certainly. Views are nice and location is good.
When you think of Civic Lofts, think "Frat house" After living here for a year I can honestly say that other than the killer view in the Sky Lounge, there is nothing "luxury" about Civic lofts. Let's start with the unresponsive management. They never return your calls. You have to chase them down for maintenance. After opening a ticket on a broken sink and going down a couple of times to call them out, it still took them a week to get someone over to repair the sink. A WEEK!!! Trash....everywhere. Trash bins go weeks without getting replaced. If you get stuck outside without your keys, good look getting in because they never respond to emergency calls. Very few adult working professionals. The tenant base is way to young which leads to late night parties in said Sky lounge. The doors are supposed to close @10pm but the security guard never kicks anyone out. Parties have gone 'til 3am on a Thursday. This is unacceptable. The parking is an absolute joke, whomever designed this building must be laughing all the way to the bank and now the management team has failed to repair the garage door which has lead to cars being broken into. The security guard is either falling asleep on the job, doesn't care or is in on it. The building has two elevators, but one is almost always broken. At least the last management team, would try to repair it. This new management appears content with not repairing it. We're going on 3 straight weeks without a working second elevator. Do not be fooled by the Sky Lounge view. This is not a Luxury complex. If you're a working professional looking for peace, quiet and a safe place to park your car, look elsewhere!
