So nice to just drive thru..waiting in my car is so Preferred than sitting in a waiting room. Sometimes the meds don't always make it from hospital to station, but that's not stations fault. At least I believe it isn't. Those working the drive thru window are always pleasant and that's appreciated!
The Navy really did a disservice to its community by making this annex a drive through only. Today there must be 60 vehicles in line…the same amount I saw an hour earlier. And while I know the personnel in the annex are doing everything they can to speed up the process they are just overwhelmed by the volume of customers using this facility. I for one would rather park my gas guzzler and walk in or wait outside to pick up my refills.
Line was extremely long. Probably ~ 20 cars at 1425! The setup needs to change as well, another review mentioned there is no way to get out of line one you enter it, and that is true and a good point. Need to open up for walk ins again.
Drive thru only. Today, there are 18 cars in line and moving very slow. Pretty typical. Biggest problem is once you get close to the building you have to commit to staying in line as there is no way out. It turns into a single, curbed lane. Twice after waiting in the line, I was told the meds were at the main pharmacy. The first time, I went to the main pharmacy just to find out the tech at the satellite didnt look in the refrigerator. Had to wait in the long line twice that day…
Staff is great and helpful. Only issue I have is with the line through the drive thru. People act like their cars need to comply with the 6ft apart rule and will actually leave a good car length or two in between each other and I find that to be the case almost every time I pick up my meds. if the drivers would just scoot up 2or 3 cars will fit in the line. It’s just a pet peeve of mine and I’m sure others feel the same way.
Normally they're very fast and dependable. However the new system is slower than molasses in winter. Average wait is approx 1hr,15minutes.
Activating new prescriptions: An earlier review mentioned "can't get through to activate prescription new prescription". They have an app "NH Pensacola" in the app store that will create an email among other things formatted with the right info to send to the pharmacy to activate prescriptions. The next time, you can go to your sent mail and copy paste to a new email for new prescriptions. Took me a lot of digging to find this info.
The drive through needs to be redesigned. Too many times the line is long and folks decide to wait anyway. You reach a point of no return in that once you get to a certain point in line there no getting out of line. It’s a one lane road around the building. If one were to have an emergency or even just an urgent need to get out of line, you’re stuck. There’s no where to drive except through the drive through. Fix this!
Just found out that the hours have changed to opening at 8 am and a online message stating that calls were made two weeks ago. Who got the calls???? I guess the military has gone to civilian business hours.
Great service, but since Coronavirus, the drive thru line is very long, average time to get medications perhaps an hour or more, the command can correct this problem, if the management is aware of this fact! Hoping & praying that the concerned of everyone, esp seniors will be heard! Thanks!
