Amazing clean park with amazing view of CR Swart Dam and boat club. lots of fishing from the bank. Dog-friendliness: Walk your dogs Picnic area: Green and soft grass, watch for snakes.
Very tidy, neat, clean & safe. Toilets also not bad at all for public toilets. Nice place to go clear your head and if you need some alone time!
Hi Everyone. I'm posting this to try make every 1 aware of a hole that has appeared as result of 1 of those big concrete drain pipes giving way.my son almost fell in there as we couldnt see it because the grass has grown over the hole. It's on your left as you enter the park. Right next to the rails so when walking next to the rails toward the main road you will find it. Please be careful when walking there. I don't know what authority to contact regarding this dangerous situation. Some1 will surely fall victim if it is not addressed.

Good place to go and have an outdoors experience with family. One can even have some relaxing time while fishing at the dam.
Buzy park,safe and fishing is nice
For the dog lover....excellent.At least one can walk ones best friends without issues.Do however appeal to all doggy people.please pick up the pooo.Not nice stepping into surprises and don't spoil tge opportunity.There aren't many places left.Safe place and access good.
Wonderful to have place to take one's dogs to run and socialize. A fence near rd would be great but not an absolute necessity.
I love going there,all those magnificent trees dedicated by some hero in the past. That place is so nice excepting for one problem and it is this.there are guys flying these VERY NOISY little aircraft polluting the amazing tranquility of C R SWART FACILITY.they should go to places dedicated to model aircraft .I love walking my daschund there ,, very nice. Much better since Ebotse took charge of maintaining the park. Lovely place to walk one's dogs. If only the toilets could be of a usable standard.
