Manager lied about store policy and let his ego get in the way of business. They refused to hand goods over to my courier even though the payment had reflected and I followed the store policy. I needed goods urgently. Salesperson said goods will not be released until payment reflects, which is common practice and to be expected. I made an instant payment which I pay an additional fee for using FNBs pay and clear now, the money reflects instantly. Then the salesperson demanded POP, something that was not requested anywhere, I wasn't even provided an email for it, and the payment reflects instantly anyway I provided the POP, then the salesperson tells me the money hasn't reflected. I said I've done hundreds of payments like this and it should reflect instantly, then he was like "ooh" even though I had explained this to him 3 times earlier on the phone. This shows he assumed it hadn't reflected and didn't check. I then asked to speak to a manager since the salesperson didn't have much control over the situation. The manager was condescending and treated me like a kid and had a huge ego like he was sitting me down in his office and said "did the salesperson explain that goods won't be released until 24 hours after payment has been cleared". I said it's an instant payment, he then condescendingly explained how EFTs reflect on the next day. I asked if he knows of FNB pay and clear, he lied and said yes, then told me again that there's a 24 hour period. No where did I see that. He then called the salesperson over like a child, as if he was sitting both of down at his desk, and I could hear him ask the salesperson if he had told me about the payment and 24 hour made up clause. The salesperson said yes, then the manager condescendingly acted as if the case had been solved. The salesperson did not mention the 24 hours after payment has been received clause, and I don't see it anywhere. Since the manager wasn't trying to address my issue or help and instead put me in my place, I swore at him because I could tell he had a huge ege and was talking down to me. To him this further confirmed his self righteousness as he asked me not to use foul language. I forgot we weren't all adults.

Excellent spot to acquire necessary bits and pieces like electrical tape, plumbing washers, chain, welding electrodes, wd40 spray, etc, screws, nuts, springs etc, however their tills were having a hassle or maybe it was a stock take thing but there was a delay, thankfully not too long. Problem sorted.

A good place to get practically anything you need from hardware to engineering. Staff are extremely helpful and prices are really reasonable. A pleasure to shop here.

Love this store. Has almost every bolt and nut and a little more with staff that are very knowledgeable and helpful. From humble beginnings to the force that they are now.
