Thoroughly enjoyed my second time at Davy’s for a wine tasting. Sam and Adam hosted our group of 14 for one of their private tastings in-store. A fantastic evening all round; we tried and learned about some delicious wines and were taught techniques for tasting. They were welcoming, knowledgable and took extra time with our large group. Everyone said they would definitely book this again, it was great value for money and we all felt very cultured whilst getting quite tipsy! Thank you Sam and Adam.
It has very good selection of wine and the shop display is very attractive!
Great experience and friendly service! They are taking guidelines seriously and have created a new spacious outdoor seating & dining area at the which is great on warm summer evenings!
Excellent shop and team When I was thinking of a gift for my hubbie’s 40th birthday, I knew I wanted to treat him to some top wines as he is passionate about wine. Davy’s Wine in Greenwich was my go-to choice because I have been shopping there for a few years now - they always stock a huge range of excellent wines. Sam manages the Greenwich store and when I called he was immediately enthusiastic about helping me put a gift package together. Over the course of the next couple of weeks we chatted over the phone and exchanged emails to pin down the right choices. He was so generous with his knowledge and time and was incredibly helpful, sending over detailed notes on each wine and proposing packages based on what we had discussed. He even included beautiful wooden, silk-lined boxes for the wines. I really was delighted with what he put together. And it was fun working with him too, he is a great guy. Sam really is a credit to Davy’s Wine. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough, and a big thank you to Sam for the success of the gift, it was very happily received I am happy to report!

Great place. We went there for a wedding party on the cellar and it was excellent. Very helpful friendly staff.
I have dined at Davys many times. The food is pretty decent. Service is generally quite fast. The menu is varied and there are many gluten free meals. Their wine list is extensive the Sancerre is my favourite. I find the staff to be hit and miss. The waitress on my last visit actually upset my date by not listening and getting the bill wrong. Also the floor slopes steeply on entering the permises. So if you have trouble walking please be mindful of the floor. They have a pleasant outdoor area with seating. I would definitely recommend this establishment. Though book before you go for an evening meal to avoid disappointment
Wine retail done in a classic and friendly manner. This shop is always well stocked with exciting wines and great classics. Sam and his team are doing an impeccable job, great knowledge and very friendly and personal service. No snobbery, no pretence, no ynneccessary wine gerkery just a great natural service without the feeling of hard sold some weird bin end plonk. Highly recommended. From stock to staff, that's how wine retail should be in my opinion.
Came here for a wine tasting evening with my mum and it was fantastic. Both hosts were amazing! Angus in particular was super interesting and a lovely guy - even gave us a free bottle!
I was very impressed with the service from Davys . This is the first time I have visited this shop and it certainly won't be the last . The tall man with dark hair , I didn't get his name , went out of his way with his customer service . Also his knowledge about wine specifically French wine was much appreciated . Thank you !
