Always a pleasure to visit Dan Pienaar Animal Clinic, professional and friendly staff.

Terribly sad, I picked up a baby bosduif which had obviously been attacked by something . Anyway my usual vet was not available and they always take the birds which I find injured , and nurse them back to health , eventually setting them free into nature. When I arrived the service was poor to say the least! When requesting the vet to take a look he was very hard handed, pulling and prying at the poor little dove which was terribly distressed at this stage . What shocked me next was I was told 900 zar to operate or 161 to put to sleep ????? Ag nee , so iets het ek nog nooit in my hele lewe ge experience nie. Not professional, not sympathetic towards an animal lover at all.... Needles to say constant calls on when they will receive there R161 ?! After all that , they charging me for a wild animal , which is not mine and who I tried to help. ? And to top it off cremated the bird with a dog in the same box to save costs , I was told ?????? So..... I will pay you when I get a chance off work . But really shocking verby! Ek sal regtig 2 keer mooi dink voor ek jul hulp ooit weer gaan besoek.

Such caring doctors and staff. So happy to have found them. Our dog was playing and had a wagging tail straight after his injections. Thanks so much!

On 30 April I took my cat with a broken pelvis to Dan Pienaar dierekliniek at 16:30 they close at 17:00. They helped us without blinking, the cat stayed overnight and nou almost two weeks after he is almost back to his old self.
