As first timers in Bloem, we went to Pretty Gardens. But had THE BEST experience with Dehan at spitskop, teaching us so much about the snakes, iguanas and lastly spiders. He tolerated our questions and was a great guide. Big ups to Dehan.

Spitskop Aquarium / Pets I used 2 work there 5 month ago, but i had 2 relocate and i visited again today. Love the place and i want 2 say extra thanks 2 Elwin Stragen for helping me and pushing me 2 learn and do the best i can. I am were i am today coz off it. Thanx alot and lots of love

Have a lot of fish and realy some nice Tropical fish but they are a bit expensive over all they are a good place to go and get your aquarium set up

Rude! Thieves…the owner called my mother, a 65yr old lady and shouted at her over the phone and threatened her, all because he is trying to swindle her out of an extra R400 on a sale coz R2500 wasnt enough commission for selling 2 of our puppies. In person he was rude and aggressive and escalated the situation to a physical one, then they proceeded to pepper spray my friend and pulled a knife on me threatening to stab me…is this a pet shop owner or a common street thug????
