Poor service ever, I went there for my Uber inspection with car certificate showing that my car was 2015 model, date of liability for first licensing 2025-01-13, they told me my car it's 2014 model‍‍

I purchased a Audi A1 from Audi centre east rand that took my vehicle to dekra for roadworthy and only to find that Dekra passed the vehicle with a windscreen chip that was in the driver's line of sight. I contacted the manager at dekra boksburg who indicated to me that it must of happened after the test however my proof of inspection with my way also confirms the chip that was repaired previously, very sad as one would think that dekra is a reputable roadworthy centre.

Dekra report means nothing!!! Bought a 4x4 who had a Dekra report saying it had only an exhaust problem and they can conform it was fixed. O how wrong that was! I picked up mayor issues. When I called Dekra a lady explained that Dekra only checks normal stuff on normal cars, not 4x4s. Clearly stated it was a 4x4! The 4H and 4L it did not work due to electrical issue R9800 to fix. The headlights did not go to bright Is that not on all cars? incurring R1500. Car still did not pull well for a V6 and took to AA. When I got the report I paid for, I spent an additional R21525.00 on mechanical components Fuel pump also thought all petrol cars had those to get car working. But wait the Transfer case had its own problems R42700! Prop shaft was R7500. This is roughly 300km, YES 300km of driving on my side. After a good bill of health from Dekra even the wheel alignment was even out! I asked Dekra if they would be willing to assist me. The reply:” Unfortunately our personnel are not allowed to recommend or refer our customers to any workshop, repairer or panel beater shop.” At 500km of ownership! I found out all 5 of the tires are not safe having had a blowout while driving. All 5 tires had multiple punctures on each tire, just an additional R60000!!! Car also had a left front smash that I fixed myself replacing a headlight, not added to the bill but at least R3000 on material not including spray. I had to spend almost R150000 on a car I owned for 500km after getting OK from Dekra. Then there is still the bonnet I will need to repair that does not close in properly. I will NEVER except a Dekra report again on anything. Suggest you do the same, will save you lots of money!
