Del Forno Bergbron - Pizza Pasta Grill

On Sunday 28 May'23 afternoon we visited Del Forno Bergbron Florida Glen. We were met by the very friendly manager and very friendly waitress. The waitress brought the menu's and asked if we would like to drink something. She took our order and we quickly got our drinks. She then took our food order and we quickly received our food warm and tasteful. Would definitely go back them. Thank you very much for the great customer service and food received.

As a family we've always recommended Del Forno to everyone around us. The Bergbron franchise had never failed to deliver fantastic food and friendly service. We always get exactly what we ordered well before the expected time of delivery. Delivered food is always fresh, hot and intact. 10/10 would recommend.

Lighting off on one side. No cutlery on table. Table was dirty Took ages to bring drinks and take order. Waited forever to receive the bill after we had to ask for it. Still waiting 20 min later for our bill. We are only 2 tables in here. Asked twice for bill. Waiter/manager is sweaty and shirts are creased. Sorry not on. No one came to ask how the food was or if we want more drinks. Pathetic. Won't be back here.

Food was really slow, but that's not the problem. Good coffee has a head on it - when I order an Americano it must come with a lovely brown head. Otherwise it's filter coffee. Then, when I get my coffee and it's spilled into the saucer, it clearly shows you don't givee a hoot. Loop

We ordered 2x Veg pizzas and 2x penne arabiatta. We only received 1x pizza which was mediocre, as all del forno food is. We got macaroni instead of penne with tomato water instead of arabiatta sauce. I bet it was frozen. It was absolutely disgusting. I suspect a change in management, because we've supported del forno for many years. Get people that care about customers and it'll reflect in the food. Get a business person to buy a franchise and the business won't survive. Rule no. 1 in franchising. At this point, I hope they close down soon, so we're served with value. I'm writing this complaint in the hope that they'll learn to keep their valuable customers. Only so many customers can live in one area. Don't lose them. Either way, I hope to order from somewhere else. Vegetarian options: No one knows how to make decent vegetarian food as it is, but to shove an overpriced frozen dish into a microwave and deliver a part order with the incorrect pasta, is indicative that del fornos is purely about money and not quality. Won't be back.

Shocking experience spend R680.00 and the chicken pasta was disgusting pasta and chicken was not fresh has been made a few days prior to serving. I went in personally the following day and Corne promised you get back to me this never happened, I called three days later and was told he had gone to a different store and promised he would call me. I am still waiting three weeks later. Such a shame that there is no service it is a lot of money to spend on a stale tasteless meal. Corne you should not be in a branch without a manager when you are not able to assist a customer and don’t promise to call back and never bother to do so.

Quality food at a reasonable price. Great place for light and casual meals, and the whole family with a great selection of specialties, pizza and pasta. The service is good and the staff are friendly. If you in the area, try Pizza Del-Forno, you will like it.

We've ordered from this store many times over the last 2 years. The food is impeccable as far as local pizza goes. The pizza is made with natural coal oven and the toppings are delicious, consistent and generous. They also have a live singer on Tuesday's.

A peaceful restaurant that is close to home. Friendly service. However the food has been a bit disappointing, not as good as other Del Forno's.Food: 2/5
