Not closing at 4pm they have been closed ALL week.  42 years paying uif they rejected my claim never ever claimed disgusting go try to find out more info they are closed due to a strike.  People who visit the branch are unemployed no money for transport get there only to find they are closed

Absolutely disgraceful service from the security guards as well as the woman who answers the phone. She claims she knows nothing that happens there so please tell me why she is there to answer the phone???? Secondly Benoni labour department sent me to the Boksburg one as they were under investigation, I stood there from 6 in the morning to be pushed to the back of the line cause I don't reside in Boksburg!!! The service is disgusting!!! When I was inside I was poked by the security guards to sit where they instruct you to sit, absolutely horrid to be treated like this and they couldn't care less! I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their time to go there.

Mrs Prinsloothe receptionist.  Worst telephone etiquette ever..  Everything I asked I was told no..no..no..you must go to Kempton Parkverbatim  Did not even give me a chance to explain my dilemna. What's with government departments and their customer service.  Enough is enough.  People in customer.service should have a passion and empathy  for people.  Disappointed much .

I'm so grateful for the customer service. There was a lady that worked at "enquiry counter 8" she was absolutely amazing with her service that she provided. I am truly grateful for her. I was depressed before I got to the office and after waiting in the queue from almost 5 hours I couldn't care less. When I got to her counter she changed my entire day. Thank you so much!..  1st time lucky I guess. 2nd time was a complete disaster. Not happy at all.

The service is horrible, I've been going to them since my maternity leave started, started on the 28th September 2022,then i was told to go back on the 3rdd October then i was told to come back a week later on the10th, the supervisor Dennis assisted me, something about my company has to register me for maternity, on the 17th i called and Dennis told me to come in the matter is sorted, i submitted all my forms and was told after 14 days I will receive my money on day 24 when i called I was told I never made an application, i went to the branch and they couldn't even find my papers, the guy who took my forms on the 17th didn't even care that he didn't submit my application I had to re apply again and im still waiting

Receptionist is utterly rude!!! She can't even transfer us to someone that can assist!!  Please appoint people that actually want to work and that's not there just for the money and benefits!!!

I'm so disappointed with this department. I applied for maternity UIF on the 6th of January till date, I haven't received any payment what so ever. I've been going to the branch for follow ups only to be told someone still has to approve for payment. When checking online, status since the 18th of Jan has been "completed by assessor" nothing has changed. Your services are really poor!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I suppose to beg for my money??????!!!!!!

I applied for my Maternity UIF  early September last year and to date haven't received any payment. Went to their offices on the 8th of Feb and they told me I should get my payment within 14 days of which I didn't get so I'm going back again today to inquire. Today was the 3rd time this year I went to Boksburg labour office to enquire about my claim, and was told their supervisor needs to do a follow up with the Risk team based in their provincial office how my case is going while on the 4th of March this year I was told "give us 7days your claim was only processed today". Service gotten so far is beyond poor

The lady that answered the phone is extremely rude and has absolutely no telephone etiquette or manners, she presumes she knows what your problem is before you even start explaining, and she continually put words in your mouth and patronize you all chuffed with herself and when you call her out on her mannerism she puts the phone down. The 0-800 number agents are also just as bad. The uif center does not know their noses from their elbow as as the call center and the uif center gives conflicting information.
