The branch manager, Fanie, went above and beyond to assist me. This guy is the definition of great customer service. He promised me that he would call me within 24 hours to provide me with an update if there was stock available, and even got it shipped from the Midrand DC. Very much appreciated
Terrible service. Zero star!!! A Philips shaves is on salepic1when I grab it, I find the bottom of the box is completely brokenpic 2I guess maybe that’s why it’s on sale.My husband decided to buy it. But cause the box is broken.we need make sure all attachments not short. So he opened the box from the broken bottom to check. 19/5/2022 18:00 In the meantime, I saw another one looks same product with new package. I’m a confused, so when a Dis-Chem guy comes, I asked him for help:”Is this the same one, is it on sale as well?”He compared two boxes and said yes. So I grab the new one to pay.then He said Im the one who broken the first one. I said I’m not, it’s being broken long time, not me. Then we go to the counter to pay.Till no 0005 18:02after scan The cashier said the shaver is not on sale. So The guy tell us wrong I decided leave this one, and buy the first broken one, my husband go to grab it. When I was waiting, a supervisor white lady came and spoke rudely :”we have checked the camera, you’re the one who broken the box, you must pay for it.” Im so surprised and angry, cause I never did it. I ask them to show me the camera, but they didn’t. I told them I’m not the one who broken it.they don’t listen and the arrogant lady try to teach me how to be a customer. Finally when they find the broken box products is 43% off in system, they should realize they are wrong, I’m not the one broken it.But they just left without any apologies! I can’t believe why Dis-chem have such terrible customer service? So arrogant and un-respect!
In a time of real crisis for our family, Johan Jordt has gone above and beyond the expectations of a pharmacist to assist us with the authorisation of meds for an oncology claim. At an incredibly stressful time in our lives, Johan was a voice of reason, absolute kindest and true professionalism. I cannot thank you enough or recommend Greenstone Dischem highly enough. In this day age, Johan has shown the highest possible level of care and compassion, albeit dealing with a highly stressed customer who certainly did not deserve this mans incredible level of service. Went in on 21 June 2022 to load a new script for my medication. The pharmacist didn't get her name as she wasn't wearing a name badge was not focused on assisting me at all as she kept being interrupted by colleagues needing her to sign off on medication. Although his wasn't the issue, I went in to have my script loaded on to my profile as I had just come from the dr with the new one. She assured me that she would load it and I left the pharmacy. Only to go in today to pick up medication to find that it had not been loaded. This is very poor customer service. Thankfully I had a copy of the script as I actually had a feeling that this would happen
I had a grateful experience with the pharmacist in charge elderly white lady, not sure of her name. I had run out of BP pills and had no script available as I am from out of town. She supplied me with a weeks worth of medication and politely requested that I get my doc to email her a script which I did and also suggested a consult with a local doc.
The prices of some of their supplements on the shelf is completely different when they ring it up at the till, very dishonest Dis-Chem Pharmacy

Friendly service. Quick stop, got what i needed. however some people need lessons on social distancing even with floor markers avail.
If I could give it a minus I would. My mom and I went there Saturday a week ago. My mom is asthmatic and due to having had severe Covid her lungs are now damaged. She struggles with breathing as it is when she is walking add a material mask to it and it's worse. The best option for her is to wear a shield mask. When we arrived at Greenstone the first store we went to was Dischem as we had a few things we needed to buy there. We walked in first went to the info counter to apply for a new card. My mother had her shield mask on. We then started shopping. We already had a few things when the security guard approached us to tell my mom that she needs to wear a material mask while we are trying to explain to her why she can't wear one. She rudely walks off. We didn't think anything of it and carry on shopping.The next thing the security and what we can assume is the manager come rushing through store and my mom is rudely told to wear a material mask. She was not interested in hearing why my mom can't wear one and rudely told us that their is a sign outside the store. We actually just left our things and went shopping at Clicks where we were welcome. Firstl, The sign outside was blocked by a queue of people queuing for vaccinations and therefore was not visible. Secondly, the way we were treated is extremely unprofessional you dont have to be an expert to see my mom struggles with breathing. They obviously wanted her to pass out from lack of air apparently a medical emergency is what they would prefer. Thirdly, Research shows that if you can not wear a material mask a shield one is better and that it can not be proven that material masks are better because of the different masks that are out there and the different materials used. If you are going to enforce a rule like this then enforce it that wear material masks and shields as that provides the best protection nevermind that medical professionals wear shield masks if it's ok for them then why is it not ok in a Dischem Store. They are exposed to covid more than in the store. We lodged a complaint via messenger on their Facebook and were told they would phone and we got nothing. Well Done Dischem on not caring. This should have been handled very differently. My mom was highly upset. Nothing worse than being treated like a criminal over wearing a shield mask. As a result I will not shop at Dischem and will not recommend them to anyone. It's sad because we ordered from them often but because of this they have lost more than one customer. We were treated so badly from the security to the manager. If it was a problem why did the person at the info counter not say something. Surely if you see somebody is struggling with breathing you show some compassion but there was none of that. My mother was supposed to have died from Covid. The last thing we are willing to do is undo all the workt that went into getting her this far. At one point she couldn't even walk. We are horrified at the treatment that was received and the fact that nobody has picked up the phone and called us like promised to sort this out. You clearly dont need business during these hard times. When your branch closes dont ever question why.Its because of the above.
It does get very busy and packed. They do vaccinations. Very quick and the ladies are very friendly.
