I went to book an appointment to do my nails at the Dis-chem beauty bar, the nail technician was by the till point and didn't seem to want to take my booking which the lady at the till checked for a slot and gave me a booking. On the last hour I received a call that my appointment has been cancelled because the technician is on leave and the person coming to stand in for her doesn't know how to do nails. A big shop like Dis-chem, which I always thought was about excellence, I just can't believe. Oh and this was my 3rd attempt trying to get an appointment with this Dis-chem.

Not bad store just don't understand why the keep putting insecticide infort of the dog food.

2023 update: same poor service and rude staff from pharmacy to the online order collection station. It’s the same lady at online collection station, always on the phone chatting with friends, then takes forever to attend to customers. Such a shame!! I’m going back to clicks!  2022 update: The lady at the online orders collection service desk always in a bad mood, chatting with friend on the phone while I wait to collect my order, she is so rude. This other cashier asked me to pay for an item I bought at clicks and the security guard had to clarify that the sticky tape means that I entered the store with the item. I was so humiliated. It’s well stocked, neat store but some of the staff members are horrible. I now order online for home delivery because I can’t deal with such attitudes.

This is a pathetic shop. The prices on the shelves are wrong so by the time you pay, the item is double the price....pathetic!!!! I will not support this branch and will make sure that everyone knows.

Great service! We were trying to shop from a list, when Valencia came over and quickly helped us pick our list. I was really impressed with the efficiency that we have been assisted with.

O my goodness, great customer service is not something that one get these days, but really, Dischem Harties, you really look after your customers. Nathan Deysel, thank you so much for your quick and friendly service. You went over and beyond. Thank you!!!

The baby section is very poorly stocked and I was able to find a ton of stock at the Checkers rather.  With that being said, the clinic gets a full 5 stars as the nurses that work there are brilliant!

This store really went out of their way to assist me with problems i had with our medical aid
