I call this store my happy place. Clean, spacious and fully stocked. I am a big fan of their 3 for 2 specials. Saves me so much money. The staff is lovely and so helpful. Always greeted by a friendly face. From the security guard at the door all the way to the pharmacy.

We had an issue whereby we came looking for size 5 huggies nappies. We ended up seeing 3 packs kept at the customer service desk. We asked if they were available to be told no a customer phoned to keep them for her, she had not payed for them nor purchased them online. Coming from retail management myself it did not make sense to me how you could keep an item for someone who had not payed, yet there were customers willing to pay at that very moment. The manager of the store obviously doesn't know that you cannot do this. You cannot phone to reserve items for yourself without paying especially when there is a supplier issue. I could have taken this further than just a bad review.

Excellent prices and big store with lots in it

The worst service I have experienced at any Dischem. I arrived in the que at prescriptions 8: 10am, only 3 people infront of me, and was only attended to at the counter at 8: 50 am. Only one pharmacist attending to customers. This is absolutely ridiculous. Old people in the que behind me having to wait an hour.

Very disappointing.  My regular medication always out of stock. Busy with long queues and only one assistant serving public. Have changed now to my local pharmacy

They unpack the absolute minimum of the  item, when you go to buy the special on the first day of special advertised they don't have stock, offer a "rain cheque" file it in the bin, THEY WILL N E V E R contact you again. THEY LIE IN YOUR FACE WITH THE SAME LIE every time. "The supplier is out of stock" meanwhile back at the ranch All supermarkets, stock that exact item, their supermarket supplier is not out of stock!! Also did I buy on a SPECIAL, facial special condition products. Discovered at home I already have sufficient stock of one specific products, did not open the package, stil intact and sealed. Dis-chem Refused to SWAP it for another product in the range. Even with both purchases slips to proof my situation and sealed products, they refused my request. Dischem is only about money money money. NO service delivery or customer care. No passion for their job, the lady at cosmetics specifically. Every query to much of a hustle, rather refuse and send the customer out the door. Well you are losing a pretty penny on me alone by now buying from your opposition. And I also removed my chronic script for Eltroxin and HRT to the opposition for the same reasons as mentioned above from other unhappy customers.

Service at the self medication line is terrible. They are really slow. Only one pharmacist or pharmacist assistant was there attending to customers. Left and went to clicks found the item i was looking for at R20 cheaper. Thats a lot guys

Dispensary service very bad. Its not the first time visit 4 times already. They must visit potchefstroom Dischem and see wat service you get there.  You dont deserve the one star.

The service I received there yesterday was very disappointing...... They claimed I hadn't paid for my prescription meds from November 2021 and showed me footage of me putting the meds on the till counter..... And said that the lady didn't scan the item.....  this was a fault by the cashier.... After waiting for hours they had said I need to pay this outstanding amount and treated me like I had stolen these meds not being able to take accountability for their incompetence and inefficiency.... I ended up paying for an item and went home empty handed..... The manager there was placing the blame on me and it was a horrible experience....the situation was just handled poorly in terms of communication and customer service..... I was spoken to in a condescending way by the manager and won't ever go back there....

Incompetent Pharmacists. 3 different pharmacist assisted. Letting a patient leave without all the medicine stated on the script!! This is the second time in 1 month. My Dr's rooms even had to call, and still nobody could even assist Dr's rooms with regards to script that was handed in.  This is a real concern for elderly people collecting their scripts. Tried phoning, and on hold for 7 min, still no answer!  If you can't pack the correct medicine, don't put the medicine in a locked box so that the patient can't check if you can do your job. Or at least double check script with patient to confirm everything is packed.
