I went to see Dr. Mogodi today; 14/10/2022, after blood shot eyes followed flu symptoms my daughter was experiencing over the past two days. My husband had already been here before and he had very good things to say about his experience. I was anxious to see if I would have the same experience because it was our first time. Upon arrival we were greeted by a receptionist with a warm smile, she had been busy on her work computer and she dropped everything to attend to me. She was friendly, also addressing the patient, my daughter, while we were talking. Check-in was very quick. In our time at check-in, the second receptionist, the pharmacist, and a nurse greeted us warmly when they were passing by. I just started thinking that these ladies must really be paid well because Sowetan receptionists and staff are usually the downfall of good Sowetan doctors. The doctor himself was very friendly and I loved that he wasn't very forceful with my child. She is very fussy when she is sick, but when she wouldn't open her mouth, he just used another strategy to check her throat. After our consultation we saw the pharmacist again and she was highly informative and warm. She gave me all the instructions verbally as she was writing on the bottles because we all know their writing is sometimes hard to make out. When we walked out the two receptionists bid us a warm farewell. This experience was the best.
