I went to Dr Makhubela today and I must say the service I received from the ladies at reception was disgusting. I'm disappointed because Dr Makhubela is a great Dr. I have used him before bit now just because they couldn't verify my medical aid details I was turned away, mind you I'm sick as a dog. I'm weak, I couldn't even walk but they just said we cannot help you. They didn't even ask the Dr. It's not my problem their system is was not working . Imagine if I die on the way coming from a dr
I have never seen such a passionate Doctor like him, he cares way too much about his patients well-being. He puts more efforts when in consultation, he is not in a "next patient please".
Dr Makhubela is the best doctor. Always making sure that he examine you no matter what. I salute you Doc, my son can breath normal bcs of you. Happy client .
A very good doctor I drive from North West to Soweto just to be treated by him. I've taken my baby to pedetricians and only when we went to Dr Makhubela, that's when his condition became manageable. The receptionists take their own time with everything but I focus on the end goal
I get the best service here but the time you'll spend waiting is seriously inconsiderate. You literally have to bring lunch or some source of food to withstand the hours you'll spend waiting on being served attended.
I would give him a five star because wow he is one of the best doctors I know. The problem is his staff members. They are very rude and disrespectful. If they can get rid of them I wouldn't mind traveling to him.

My sister took my mother because of her high sugar levels. They don't have a card machine and so my sister asked me to make payment I'm home. The network reception from there is quite bad so I couldn't hear her properly to get the account details.I tried the first time and completed the payment but some reason they didn't get a notification. While trying for the second time, my sister says they started locking up and so they had to wait outside. When I called to tell her the payment went through, they had already left. They withheld the medication and left my sister standing there. Who withholds medication from a patient? And obviously for someone to go consult this late after 8pm it means it's something that we couldn't leave until tomorrow. I'm very disappointed that, if they really believed that we were not going to pay, this is the only way they could think of ensuring that we go back. What happened to holding someone's phone or ID or driver's license? Withholding medication is not putting a patient's life first - it's the lowest of the low. I will be lodging a complaint with the HPCSA.
The Dr is good and knows his story but the lady at the reception will drive clients away. I've been calling everyday just to get my COVID-19 results but eveyday is a different story. After calling for the 100th time only now she sent my result. I don't think I'll ever go back
Dr Makhubela has been my Dr since i was a baby till now, even thought i dont stay in Tladi anymore but everytime when myself or my children are sick we travel from vaal to soweto to consult and the line is worth all the waiting because his the best Dr ever. I give him 10 stars.
