Good service and atmosphere. This is my go to for a bite. I tend to always have the same meal there, the steak chips and bone marrow. It never disappoints. They make a very good cortado.Food: 4/5

Guaranteed that your breakfast, or food in general, will be of a great standard with no deviation. Located with easy access, this Doppio Zero employs very friendly, efficient, and 'interested' staff. Food was good,  table of 9 served efficiently with us only having to wait for the one French toast meal. Service was great.

The food is great, however the service is terrible. The waiters do not have team work. They will stand there and look at you if you’re not served by them.

This restaurant used to be amazing and worth the money. But today you let me down. I didn’t argue about getting wrong orders and drinks because it was the kitchen and Barman who made the mistakes not the waiter. But then the manager white lady with the red marks on her forehead decided that she was going to tell me to put out my incense.  The reason why I had it on was because she has stopped them from using citronella in the restaurant so now they light coffee grounds for the bee infestation which causes a strong smell in the restaurant.  I told her I’m allergic to bees but obviously she would rather have me die in the restaurant because apparently “incense changes the taste of the food”. The bees surrounded me and I got so scared for my life that I had to leave!  Lady. Impending death changes the taste of my food too, and because of you I will not be frequenting the restaurant anymore.  That’s R2000 a week. In total over 3 years I have spent R312 000 there. But I guess because I come dressed in a hoodie and not heels and a blouse, you think I don’t contribute to your restaurant.  The restaurant has gotten horrible after you took over, woman. The food has become bad. The service even worse. And the way you speak to your staff is disgusting! In fact the way you treat your customers is disgusting too!  Don’t go there. It’s not worth dying for!

The food has gone so far downhill in the past few years, and the managers' care with it. The new renovations make you feel like you stepped in to a terrible all inclusive resort in the 90's. Why is there wicker everywhere? Why am I sitting at a diner-style booth with gross fabric? With the renovations going on in the mall itself, Doppio will very quickly resemble the Wimpy that used to be there - and follow in its sad footsteps. Bye-bye Dopps.  Someone told me about the "new" Doppio "I haven't been inside, but wasn't appealing when I walked past." And that about summs it up.
