Douglasdale Police Station

I visited this station a few days and had the most pleasant experience. Obviously the need to visit was not the most pleasant but all the officials who assisted me did so as professional and friendly manner that I really did not expect. Everyone was eager to assist and made me feel so comfortable.

-I have been to Douglas Dale Police Station recently to submit some application forms, the staff was very friendly and help full, even after some of my documents not being correct residential documents they gave me directions to the nearest bank so I was able to obtain the correct paper work and return in time to submit the documents same day. -It made me glad to see there are still some good Police Officers out there which can be very help full and friendly.

The worst service I have received in my life! Go there 2 days in a row for a police clearance for work, 1st day I understand I needed a few more documents, next day I go with required documents and get told they can't help me, not enough signatures and I'm not from the area but I work in the area and it's the closest to work, wasted my time really! Everyday is a new story. They are not efficient at all! Wish I got the inspecters name, he was very rude and disrespectful!

The staff were extremely rude and made it clear they didn't want to do any work. Turning us away when we tried to open a case after having an accident. Apparently being the only police station reasonably accessable to us aren't good enough reason to warrant service as the accident didn't happen in their zone.

Extremely Helpful. I called at 9pm today to find out about document certification and the Female officer I spoke to gladly advised I can come through. She had the stamp ready and waiting for me. Was home about 10 min later. Thanks so much Douglasdale Police…

I was assisted promptly. I had to wait for transport in order to be escorted but my wait was within a very humane and respectful manner. The police station is busy but orderly. Let them be fully resourced and their offices be upgraded.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received at the Douglasdale Police Station this morning. The police officers at the desk were very helpful and polite. Although I was unable to resolve my problem I found them all to be professional and courteous. Officer Jali was especially helpful and went beyond the call of duty to assist. Thank you for the manner in which you handled the situation.

Extremely helpful team at the Douglasdale Station. Had to do a firearm amnesty application. Yes, it took a while in the queues but that’s our fault for waiting till the last days. Captain and team on duty were very competent and dedicated are are to be commended.

A bit difficult to get through telephonically but once you go in personally they have very efficient, super friendly Police Officers. It’s not a very busy police station so no impossibly long queues and the likes. Thank you SAPS.

I had a good experience from the taking of the statement to the follow up sms's and call. Thank you. Please all continue being proud of being in SPS and providing a good service to the people in your community
