Today we had the worst experience in this institution called Satana medical clinic because they didn't want to help my kids. My son was vomiting and had diarrhea in their office, but they first wanted to confirm that there is funds available. We advised them that we didn't have funds on the medical aid but we have unlimited GP visits available. It seems that this institution just wants money first before they can help any patient. Because the medical aid confirmed that they are the listed service provider for our kids. They continued to ask for funds irrespective.what happened to the prescribed oath to assist sick children Dr Coetze? Even though your system shows for years we attend your practice and have never had an unpaid bill with you. We are so disgusted that you still have a license.
Worst experience ever. Went there lastweek tuesday night and was seen by thay Xhosa male doctor who diagnosed me on less than 3minutes. Went back the Thursday as I've gotten worse, saw Dr Burger who helped me to the best of her abilities, but yet here I am in hospital day 5. I'm currently looking for another doctor in our area, their service levels just dropped
I have been waiting at this "private doctor since 2pm and it is now past 7pm. There is currently still 7 people ahead of me, so not sure when I will be assisted. There is no sense of planning, or common sense. They accept however amount of people and then just let's 1 doctor deal with the backlog from the afternoon.! It's ridiculous and bordering malpractice. Definitely taking things further.
This practice has been my and my families practice since I was 4 and non of us has ever had to go back a second time after our first. I have never once complained but I have to say I had an encounter with my ashma at work... Along with it I have a pounding headache and and a extremely sore throat with a bad cough... Dr Mfobo was so unfriendly.. She asked me what was wrong I told her... She Interrupted me mid sentence.. Gave me a piece of paper and said the nurse must put me on the neb, I was on there for literally 2min.. She treated me for sinus!!! This is on my sick note! Sinus! I hardly slpt, I have no voice, body acing, cannot swollow and my chest is so tight and now have spotting on my tonsils... So dissapointed... Dr Burger and Dr Coetzee are just one time the best.
If you are actively seeking poor customer service, this is definitely the place for you. I've attempted to use this establishment twice and never even got to see a doctor. The most recent incident was that the reception do not expect Digital Discovery membership cards. The more I try and explain that Discovery no longer issues physical cards the more the receptionist demands that I either handover a printed copy of medical aid certificate or card. I asked if they would please print my certificate for me as I can easily email it through but they would not assist. First of all, you have so many staff standing around doing absolutely nothing other than conversating. Why won't one of them come around the long waiting line and ask the patients what they there for and check of all paperwork is in order. I had to have blady bank statement ffs just to use my own medical aid. This place will never get ant business from me or my family. I guess all the bad reviews were indeed true.
Haven't been this impressed by the doctors admin staff in a long time, the 2 ladies at reception were so nice even when I called she was friendly on the phone. Dr Coetzee was also very nice. They are on a first come first serve basis but we all sit and wait at doctors didn't have an issue with the long wait, the service was worth it.
I missed an appointment with a specialist at Netcare and still nothing has been resolved. How come the patient need to follow up after leaving several messages for the assistant dealing with the medical aid issues and then you get that nonchalant response. I had to contact my medical aid to follow up and contact the assistant several times to get tings sorted. I had to contact my medical aid 3 times to get an authorization code. I ended up rescheduling, lost a days salary and almost R150 airtime. This is unacceptable and bad for publicity. So now I have to take off from work again.

He is such an amazing doctor, haven't put my faith in a human being this much but if it wasn't for Dr JP Coetze i doubt i wouldn't have made it this far with my health.thank you for have passion in what you do and being such a caring doctor and may God bless you and ur family and keep u for the longest time.
The admin clerks are full of attitude they do not greet or ask the reason to be at the surgery. They just look at you and when you speak they reply as if they are annoyed. I am a regular at the surgery and most times I tolerate this attitude. I hope Dr Coetzee and the other doctors could look into this because these clerks are suppose to be the face of the business, but they are not doing it any justice.
