I have been a patient of Dr Maiculla for over a decade! She is the best physician I have ever had….in any speciality. She is patient, caring, she listens, and takes the time to get to know you as a person not just a number. When I received her letter about her retirement I cried. She is more than deserving of a break but the medical world is truly losing a gem! Thank you Dr Maiculla for everything you has done for me and the MANY people I have referred to you over the years. You are truly irreplaceable!
I am sensitive to a lot of things and people. I had no issues with the doctor, in fact I actually liked her. She was on time for my appointment and introduced herself and listened to my concerns. She did the examination and was gentle and understanding of my anxiety. We talked about treatment options decided on a course of treatment which is starting slow and not extreme and I appreciated that she even took the time to look up some alternative resources for me.
I have been a patient of Dr Maciulla for a very long time. She is caring, easy to talk too, and a good listener. Most importantly she helps calm me down when I'm feeling anxious. This includes follow-up calls and emails. I really feel fortunate that I have her as my doctor.
A few years ago, I found that my GYN that I had for many years in White Plains, NY, even with an appointment, wasn't able to see me and coming from VA it was starting to be impossible so a I remembered a colleague at work saying the thing she missed the most moving away from the Vienna area was her GYN, now she is a remote worker in PA - I called and asked who her GYN was that she missed and it was Dr. Maciulla and I made an appointment and that was three years ago and I am so glad I met her. Dr Maciulla is not only professional and so knowledgeable she is personable and caring and makes me feel like I've known her for years - she truly is the best experience and I'm so grateful to my colleague for her recommendation to try Dr. Maciulla!

Of the many physicians, I have seen since my childhood, she is one of the very few physician's I've met who takes a personal interest in her patients! I have been going to Dr. Maciulla for over 10 years and am very appreciative for Dr. Maciulla's utmost care of my physical AND psychological well-beings. She always asks me about my personal situation to evaluate my psychological conditions, which affect my physical conditions. She always spends enough time to know everything for the past year during annual check-ups, which enables her to give me accurate diagnoses. She even called me over the weekend to let me know about the test results, which was critical for my current condition. She said she called me as soon as she got the result because I would be worried about it. Her staffs were always very helpful whatever I asked them to help me. The receptionist was always willing to help me for billing issues and medical questions. If I forget to ask questions to Dr. Maciulla, and Dr. Maciulla is with a patient, the receptionist asks questions Dr. Maciulla between patients and gets answers for me. She always went extra miles to help me. I greatly appreciate Dr. Maciulla and her staffs for their professionalism in medical service and friendliness.
I have been a patient of Dr. Maciulla for over 13 years. She is kind, compassionate, and a straight forward doctor. She has supported me through a variety of health issues for which I am grateful. Best GYN.
Dr. MACIULLA is an excellent doctor with a wealth of knowledge in her field. I would recommend a better receptionist/front office person with a more professional demeanor that doesn't sound lazy/out of it, someone who doesn't sound clueless about records and so on. There are people out there looking for work who would better represent the practice, i.e. a high energy individual with an attentive tone/demeanor and better knowledge.
Total professional...Dr. Lori is a great doc! She's helped me with all my mid life issues and I just can't say enough to good things about her and her staff. I never have to wait, there are never billing problems, my questions are answered, everyone knows what they're doing...A+++
