Dr Mbambisa's Surgery, Mthatha

I had best experience during my pregnancy with kind receptionists, It is no longer Doc Mbabisa.Doc H Ndobo was willing to answer most of my concerns.In 2020 i booked st marys Hospital and could not be admitted since covid 19 results were not out.My husband then contacted the surgery when stranded in the middle of night.The nurses helped alot and i safely delivered a healthy baby in the doctors surgery.

Dr Ndobo is the worst doctor I happened to come across in my life time, his staff very unprofessional. Had pains in my tummy I called the surgery and I was told the doctor doesn't work late. Asked the lady what do I do now that I am not well, she was clueless as well Yhoo, m soo disappointed in Dr Ndobo

It was totally different to what I heard from family, we were there for a check up and a scan, the wait was 2 hours not knowing when there gynae what time he was coming in, so he came in at 11:15. No staff was wearing a uniform and there was an old lady who asked me to use one of their containers to go and pee, the containers that were there still had apee of a patient or patients before me. I kept looking for a clean one, anyway I went to the bathroom spend time washing it, then went back to this old lady she gave uristick so I test myself for infection I guess, because she was quiet nevermind that, she asked my husband to wait outside he was not allowed to come in. She then asked me to throw away the uristick, went to a scale and ask to keep in mind what my weight was. I was confused but I looked forward meeting the gynae thinking he'd be more professional. Yhoo haysana no greeting, it's my first time I don't even know his name, all he asked when last I had my last period, he stood in front of the scanner when he was evaluating what is happening inside he said nothing, you had to ask. He didn't even tell us what the gender was and didn't even want to confirm. He didn't explain anything, what I was tested for the results, my pressure if it's okay, I had to ask myself all he did was to be quiet. It was the worst service and the gynae seem to be misinformed, so the R800 consultation I paid what exactly does it entail.I asked when should I come again for checkup the answer was anytime.

I'd like to make it clear that its no longer Dr Mbambisa who is working there...I am not happy at all with their service I went there thinking I will receive a healing after being ill treated at the public hospital but instead it was worse...Dr H Ndobo was very unproffessional and insensitive towards me...I asked for sick leave note of 7 days he said he only gives 2-3 which is not a problem I understood now he called the nurses and they mocked me as if I don't want to go to work...I don't know whether he was not taught about confiddentiality or what is happening with him and after their very poor service waiting there for so many hours without any update they charge R800...I wouldnt recommend him for anyone.

Long waiting hours plus underwhelming level of care. My girlfriend waited for over 6 hours to be seen and the doctor just gave her a long list of infections she could have contracted. Very disappointed.

Love the Doc. Do I have a crush on her? Maybe. Is she probably my mom's age? Highly likely

Worse doctor ever....I wish Dr Mbambisa was still there...
