Had a fantastic fun time painting our dragons. We popped in on the of chance and were kindly given a place. The owner helped and was good to chat with. We had our items posted to us and they arrived safely many thanks for giving us a great experience well recommend this place and activity x
Lovely little shop with lots of beautiful little trinkety things, the pottery selection was great too and there was lots of care and attention given to patrons from the staff there. Thoroughly recommend spending some time here if you get the chance, a real gem of the Dunkeld area
Loved my experience painting and browsing. We booked last minute, and the owner could accommodate. It is a small shop so booking in advance would be recommended. The owner made sure everyone knew what to do, providing hints and tips...my partner mentioned that it was the first time we have been in a pottery painting shop where you are given information on how to best paint. Additional items were well thought out, such as towels for drying brushes, means of how to spend up drying etc. Another bonus is that items painted can be posted if the require a kiln first...which is a bonus for us as we live 50 miles from the shop. We also bought a couple of lovely arty items. Will visit again when we are next in Dunkeld.
I bought Mac gnome 179 and brought him safely back to San Diego where he will begin his new life in the sun. The items in this place are beautifully made and I highly suggest you visit. The owner Julie was lovely and if I’d had more space in my suitcase I would’ve spent a fortune
Fantastic little shop, my friend and I had a 1.5 hour slot to pain mugs large selection of pottery to paint, crockery, sculptures ect. You pay for the item you pain and the price includes paint, glazing and firing. Staff were exceedingly kind and warm and were able to post our mugs to us. Can't wait to go back again soon! Shope also has other hand made goods, leaflets about Dunkeld and Burnam, and proffesional painted pottery
We had a wonderful time. The owner was very accommodating. Great selection of pottery to paint and a peaceful and homely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
We were in the area and looking for something to do when we found this place. Luckily for us the pottery painting studio was available and we had great fun. We probably stayed 2-3 hours and only painted a plate and a mug between three of us. However the owner was very helpful, came checking on us and offered advice on techniques. She didn’t rush us or anything despite me taking forever to paint my mug.... very friendly and reasonable prices as well. They’ll ship any items that need to be glazed/burned to you for a small fee, so you can go there even if you’re not from the area.
Fabulous little shop. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Been going for years and years with my daughter to do pottery painting. Lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Friendly proprietor and fun activities centred on painting one's own gnomes, owls, pixies, etc ... cosy small premises in Cathedral Close, just a few short steps off Dunkeld Cathedral gates.
Great little shop and make your own pottery, well decorate it. Children of all ages will want to do this, but make sure you can collect the items later!
