Spur is pretty standard for me and not generally my choice of a place to eat. However, this was my second visit to a Spur in two days. It's a super kid friendly environment with a play area, colouring in for kids who don't want to use the play area and food designed specifically for children. For me that's the biggest win. I also had a really nice vegetarian Quesadilla and was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of other vegetarian options.
My experience was 110% from wiater wearing glasses he had short drathed hair that took over for my table he went out of his way to serve us and also knew how talk to the kids.I simply loved his professionalism... Vegetarian options: N/A Kid-friendliness: My 3 year old daughter enjoyed the play room... Parking: Enough parking space for me I suppose. Dietary restrictions: N/A
It was a lunch visit and the place was not busy. The service was good and the food also well worth a visit. A pleasant environment though seated next to the children's play area was a loud experience. However it is a bonus if small children with you. Recommend for a visit if looking for a place for bite or a social get together. Besides they support and sponsor the Boks, so worth a support showing
Nothing beats a spur burger with an ice cold draught. Good service and good food, food was prepared just the way I liked it. Did not wait long and the glasses were always full. The vegan meals were surprisingly delicious as well.
The Food is great . But children are left unsupervised . Couldn't Finnish my meal because had to watch the toddler. Wouldn't go there again the jbay spur has people painting children face and activities. Terrible experience!!!
Situated on Port Elizabeth's main arterial roads, this Spur is worth a visit. You get their normal Spur menu and also any specials for the day, however their service has been upgraded. We will be met and greeted at the door, guided to a table and your order taken. Your drinks arrive quickly, followed soon afterwards with, in our case, our breakfast orders. The grandkids made a bit of a mess and they assisted us quickly. The meal was great and we thoroughly we enjoyed this Spur. Security cameras allow you to watch your kids in the play area. Well done to management and team.
The food was super waiting time for prompt service was a bit long although the place was not to that busy we also battle to get hand wipesFood: 5/5
Had burgers and milkshakes. Everything was super including the service - great Classic Spur experience. Only want to mention that the Oreo milkshake was too thick to drink through the paper straw but the chocolate milkshake was perfect
Good food and service during a very busy period, will always return
Great to get back to Spur again but it's become very expensive and not as good as I remember. My Onion rings tasted like burnt oil.
