Description

The Kruger Family originates from the Freestate and settled on our farm in the Eastern Cape at the foot of the Van Staadens Mountain. Our farm's name originates from the Bible in the book of 1 Samuel 7 where Samuel took a large stone and placed it and named it "Ebenezer" which means "the stone of help" for he said "Up to this point the Lord has helped us". We live on this farm, we laugh on this farm and we hope that this farm will truly grow into a stone of help.

A brilliant place for kids to play and host parties. The animal side of things needs an upgrade I think. Nice little cafe with small eats and there is a baby chair and baby changing table available. The play area is great, it's big and there are lots of different things for kids to play on.
Holmeleigh Farm is a sweet touch farm for family to enjoy for an outing. The coffee shop area is very cute and nestled in greenery. There is ample play area for children - toddlers and older kids. We had a lovely relaxed family time there. Thank you.
A perfect family outing. This place has an incredible atmosphere and it has always been the same. Kids and parents love it here. Light eats, everything is reasonably priced. The farm is well maintained, easy to find, with lots of parking.
We really enjoyed feeding the animals, as a nanny it's nice to have some time out with the kids, change of atmosphere and we had a picnic
Lovely place for kiddies parties - animal feeding, pony rides, tractor rides. Big jungle gym to play on and an old bus which kids love! Yummy platter options and food / drinks menu. Love the rustic individual huts!
I highly recommend this place. It's great to get away from the busy city to hear the beautiful animals sounds and the scenery. The staff are always very friendly and know us well. The food is also great to eat after feeding the animals. There is also a play area for children too. I've been here several times and never had a bad visit. A definite 5/5 Stars!
My children loves it every time we go to the Homeleigh Farm. The animals are great with a very nice selection. Horses, goats, sheep, Emo, Alpaca, rabbits, geese, ducks, tortoise, donkeys, peacocks, chickens and ostriches. The food for the animals are R10 and R15 depending on what you choose. The feeding of the animals is always a hoot for the little ones. They have horse and tractor rides which are R10 each. The play park is quite extensive. They have an old bus and boat for the kiddies to play on as well as a trampoline. They have a section for toddlers only which is quite nice. The food prices are really impressive with a menu starting at R20. The cold drinks are the same price as any other place starting at R15. The waiting time at the food kiosk takes longer. It is very slow going which was not a real problem. Bathrooms and park clean is clean. There is a wooden hut that can be rented for kiddies parties next to the play area. All in all its a real good way to spend your time with the kids and it does not break the bank.
Such a lovely place! Our boy especially loved the donkeys & the pony ride. This is a great outing for kids & even adults who just love animals. The goats were so cute. They have a large variety of different animals and lots of space and the tea garden is so pretty. Loved it :
Excellent. Animals are healthy and in nice enclosures. The owner is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help you out. You can also pet bunnies! Cute ducks follow you around as well. The kids playground is really good too. I'd replace the existing trampoline with one that has a net for the little ones. We didn't eat there, but the food we saw looked yummy. Well worth the visit if you have kids.
Must do if you have little kids. Beautiful, stunning scenery, great setup. All children get a little bucket of food pellets and corn to feed the different farm animals. My kids couldn't get enough of the jungle gym with the boat and the double decker bus just adding to the excitement. The tractor ride was awesome. Managed to spot a Falcon on the ride. Staff were all super friendly.
