Misty Mountain Reserve

We family of six with children ages 6-12, spent 2 wonderful nights at this very special lodge and our overall experience was nothing less than perfect. The lodge is located in a magical place surrounded by nature and overlooking the ocean. The staff was attentive, precise and very welcoming and the food was delicious all home made including the breakfast croissants freshly baked and the homemade granola. The accommodation was very comfortable-wooden cabins, warm water, AC and everything you need to feel at home. The owners are charming and very involved and all in all we wish we could’ve stayed longer as there’s so much to see and do in the area. Highly recommended!

We celebrated our intimate wedding at Misty Mountains Reserve without ever having been there before - it was the best choice :-. We received excellent support already during the planning and experienced great flexibility and helpfulness by the extremely friendly staff during our stay. The venue itself was just great: different types of rooms all slightly different, but always designed with an eye for detail, a nicely furnished restaurant and common area and a great view from the verandah. We can recommend the place not only as an accommodation and the outstanding food in the restaurant - but also for events like weddings... Many thanks to everyone!

My husband and I stayed in The Dome for our honeymoon. It's so peaceful and quiet. The staff are super friendly...treated us like family. The facilities were clean and the food was great. Will definitely go back. See you again soon Misty Mountain!Rooms: 5/5

The most peaceful place I’ve been to. The smell of nature in the morning, beautiful sunset plus the sea view and the mist I saw in the morning until around 12:00pm was just an amazing nature to experience. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going back.

This is about the stargazing cube: Awesome and outstanding location and great stay for one night. It is awesome to move out the bed to enjoy stars and stuff. Some drawbacks: - too expensive for what they offer - our dinner arrived only 30 min after agreed time - dinner food was basic - WATER is brown! Don't care about the toilets so much but then if you need to shower in brownish water this is not nice! Also, the bathtub only has brown water so we did not use it.

Great views. Staff super friendly and helpful. Lots to do or just relax. I’ll be back to carry on working through the menu.

Beautiful little get away. Nice and quiet with friendly service. Lots of activities nearby. Rooms: Cozy little rooms and for the star gazers there are domes that you can sleep in that are transparent Nearby activities: So much to do. Big tree, zip lines, wolf sanctuary, cozy coffee shops, bungee. Food & drinks: Food is amazing.

My wife and I stayed at the Mosty Mountain Dome for our honeymoon and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The Dome is beautiful the views are magnificent, and the staff are so friendly. We were looked after as if we were special guests, the food was delivered to the room, and we had a golf cart that we could use to drive within the lodge. The service was available 24/7 to fix any issues, which was used now and then for small issues here and there. But overall a wonderful place and a wonderful experience.

The place is situated in a very beautiful and peaceful environment. Very quiet and the atmosphere is alluring. Staff members are very kind and helpful. Their rooms are clean and with all the basics one would need. Thembeka is very good at her services and she made us feel at home. We are definitely visiting soon.
