Most caring and thorough doctors. Highly recommended for babies and toddlers
Both Dr Kilfoil and Dr Pretorius are wonderful. They are very patient and kind with my daughter who used to hate the doctor experience but now she talks fondly of her doctors. They are very approachable and give excellent follow up service. One of a kind doctors!!
Sadly I cannot recommend this for babies. I have been here twice with small babies to see dr Kilfoil. You pay hundreds for 20 minutes. It is such a rush, such a hurry, MUCH too short. Most of that time was spent on questions that I had to answer. I felt that I didn't walk out any wiser than before the visit, with lots of unanswered questions. There was no more time. I was told general facts that I, and most other moms, already know. No proper examinations or tests were done. The second time I came... wrong diagnosis x 2. I would suggest rather go to a pediatrician and pay a little more, but also get more time and a proper examination and diagnosis from the doctor. We were prescribed very expensive medication. I asked whether the medicine she prescribed has any risks or side effects. She said No, it has no side-effects at all. She said she gives it to babies ALL the time. That was untrue. It has pages of possible side effects and is a strong drug, intended for adult use mostly... or for minors, where the risks of not taking the medication, is greater than the risks of taking it. This was not the case with my baby at all. Other doctors could not believe that this was prescribed to such a young baby in such big doses. And unnecessarily, for no good reason, no proper examination that leads to a diagnosis. So that medication caused severe urticaria all over the baby's body and soon after we stopped, he was fine again. I am very disappointed and in future rather going to a pediatrician who has a deeper knowledge of baby health and illness, and offers you more of his time and service.
Use doctor Pretorius for all my kids. Super easy online booking system. Easy parking. Friendly service. Virtually no anxiety for kids. Reasonable pricing.
Best friendly and efficient consultation. Super professional but warm-hearted and excellent at listening to the patients.
Dr Pretorius: Exceeded expectations. Amazing way with kids. Listens well. Eloquent communication in Afrikaans and English. I recommemd her services.
Lovely Dr Leeza. She's so good with my toddler. And really reasonable rates. Will definitely go back to her.
