Amazing Gem of a place situated about 28 min drive from Blyde Canyon resort. Worth the visit, facility is well kept and the staff is friendly, really enjoyed our visit.Service: 5/5
The Echo caves is about 10km away from Pilgrims Rest. Still very natural, you will enjoy the tour. Go ready for some optional crawling into tight spots wouldn't be a proper cave without them and some serious walking. FYI, on maps the caves will state that they are temporarily closed.....they are not, so do drive and enjoy. So, our guide was Thabo, he was patient, shared historical information about the cave, and wanted us to have the full experience. Highly recommend that you visit, you'll absolutely enjoy the it.
Beautiful caves with impressive stalactites et stalagmites. We had a wonderful guided tour : our guide was kind and passionate and shared lots of great facts about the caves. Highly recommand !

Saw the sign for the caves, decided why not. Best. Cave. Ever. The cooks at the restaurant know how to cook! The tour was excellent, the highlights were the madonna and frozen waterfall. 9.5/10 Would HIGHLY recommend!

Great experience. A small warning if you are claustrophobic. However, it was interesting and informative.Visited onPublic holidayReservation recommendedNo
Its okay, waited a while for the guide. It was informative, spaces a bit small at times, and a lot of stairs when you exit. Guide was quick to shove a little book in your hand for a tip. Oh wellVisited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNo
I have visited the caves since 1986 and every time it's more advanced. They keep on getting another cave so it was only the ecco and then they found Simpson's and there is even the Madonna cave. It is a must see when you are in the areaVisited onPublic holidayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNo
