Edgars Claremont

Nice place and all. The Chanel counter is great but it is a bit of a confused store in the sense that the Edgars brand as a whole tries to cater for the people on the Main Road, and those who shop at Chanel — not that anything’s wrong with that..

Not my favourite in the group though it has most items one would expect from this particular retail group. Is it just me or is the brand really overpriced. This store in particular is clean and well run. Staff were helpful and friendly. Being main road frontage is a concern. Parking can be an issue

It's cool, always have what one needs! But I would suggest a better service from the skin consultants around your beauty section. No advice and does not show knowledge of what they doing, they just look at your face and give you products that don't bring any difference.

The staff are friendly and I didn't have to wait in a long line. Good selection of products. The only issue I have ever had with this store is that the cell phone counter is either under staffed or past assistance there has been less than desirable.

Just a quick pop-in to use my wonderful Edgars voucher which expires today. 1 thank you for the decent voucher 2 the gent at the parfumerie was amazing - friendly, helpful, informed and generous - thank you, sorry I forgot to get your name 3 Amanda at the till was just lovely - when I realized I didn't have my card, she walked me to customer service and stayed till my transaction was complete. Plus a friendly wave goodbye, best wishes and see you soon from the lovely Taahirah, my go-to-girl at Bobbi Brown. All in all, a totally pleasant 15min experience.

A visit here is not absolutely necessary. Ladies, check out their branch in V&A Waterfront. They have good deals on make up... actually just go do your make up over there.

I wanted to purchase an evening top,something with a bit of sparkle,l looked around for a good while and found NOTHING!!This should be a basic item.. I then asked for assistance and the saleslady was most unhelpful, as she didn't know what was on the floor! I saw so many tops that ties between the legs!! Who wears that?? Its not 1970!!.. You need to "jack up" your ladies wear buyer.. She or He clearly doesn't have the mature elegant woman in mind..

Recently upgraded upstairs. The selection of women's clothing, the sale items, perfumes and makeup are fantastic. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

Worst Sunglasshut at Egdars Cavendish. A bunch of rude incompetent staff. I refunded an item in December 2016 and they claimed they do not give cash back at their tills. So they contacted their head office to arrange for payment into my bank account and I am still waiting to receive my refund. When I call head office to speak to the refunds section, it always goes to voicemail. I emailed sunglasshut numerous times and I got no response. I visited the store where I did my refund at and they refuse to deal with me and tell me there is nothing they can do to assist me. They were eager to assist me when I purchased from them and now I must fight for my own money while they laugh at me. I will never ever buy from sunglasshut again. Poor poor service!!!!! Poor systems in place to deal with customer queries and very incompetent staff. I will not be purchasing from the store and I will tell people of what a "kak" service I got and how they stole my money. "Minute" for them.

Edgar's is the best clothing retailer in SA.Their service,professionalism and integrity is unmatched.This is a brand you can trust.I would recommend this brand any day of the week.
