ABOUT:
Mauritz Kotzé is the founder and developer of Edu 4 All Computer Classes. He has 14 years teaching experience and was the runner up in the Western Cape for the "National Teachers Awards (NTA)" for Technology integration in the classroom (2015).
Mauritz is a primary school teacher in Parow, teaching computers to students from Grade R to 7. Since 2013 he has created an unique curriculum for his students. `
The focus of Edu 4 All is to equip children from Grade 3 - 6 in the Northern Suburbs with basic computer skills. "Knowing how to switch on or off a computer or to play your favorite game does not make one computer literate." Our small, multi grade classes are child centered.
Why should you consider Edu4All?
Your child may receive computer classes at their local school, but what do they learn? In most cases, kids attend weekly classes in the computer room and learn basic mouse skills and how to work with a Maths program or equivalent software. However, they do not learn how to operate and use a computer. A skill most needed for today.
With this program, from as early as Grade 3, your child will work intensively with Windows 10, MS Paint and Office 2013 (Power Point, Word and Excel). We'll also introduce Scratch coding (Java script) and Arduino programming (used for robotics).
