I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this university. Initially, they were eager to enroll me, but their level of communication has plummeted since I paid my fees. They have been consistently ghosting me, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. It feels like I have wasted my time and money on a university that has not fulfilled its promises. I am now seeking a refund for the fees I have paid, as this institution has proven to be a complete disappointment. I strongly advise prospective students to avoid this university and its lackluster communication and refund policies.
This is an edited review. After raising key concerns on this platform, I received detailed feedback from STADIO within 24 hours. Although my key concerns were addressed, I just find it strange that I have received such quick and detailed feedback after using this platform ... I have contacted my student advisor and QDesk for clarity on key concerns before resorting to this platform. To be fair, I have updated my review to 3 stars from and initial 1 star as I am taking a "neutral" stance in the interim. Once I have experienced the full STADIO-treatment, as distance learning student, I will highly likely update this review again.
I am currently a second year student at this institution, and my experience with this institution has been abysmal to say the least. Your queries to both the administrative staff and lecturers are left unanswered. You are expected to make sense of the course work and syllabus with minimal assistance from lecturers. Some lecturers might as well not be there, given how absent they are anyway. Overall the quality of, and the experience with this institution is really bad. I wish now that I had chosen another institution to study at, but now I am forced to see it through, unless I am willing to have my graduation delayed by another year or possibly two, not to mention the financial aspect involved in transferring to another institution. You are better off going to Unisa. The quality of the two institutions are the same, despite Stadio being a private academic institution.
DO NOT ENROL HERE! Stadio is the most unprofessional and disorganized institution that I have ever encountered. I enrolled for their distance learning PGCE, assuming that as a private school they would be more organised and contact able than UNISA. This course cost an arm and a leg and I have been sorely disappointed at every single turn. My experience with STADIO was nothing but disappointing and frustrating. I never attended my graduation due to their disorganization and 6 months after completing my degree, I am still waiting to recieve my actual graduation certificate. I have phoned and emailed every single number and email address on their website and have not been able to speak to a single human. This has become a joke and truly feels like a scam at times.
Stadio is the most unprofessional and disorganized institution that I have ever encountered. I've been struggling with them since January 2023 as I want to study BBA distance learning. Went in to campus myself, they sound very promising with everything by helping you and whatsoever, I've been emailing them since, and absolutely NOTHING - DON'T EVEN GET A RESPONDS since flippen January. In my opinion DO NOT ENROL HERE you won't even get an answer. I've studied in 2019 here when it still was Prestige Academy and had no problem whatsoever. My experience with STADIO was nothing but disappointing and will not recommend.
I am trying to get my PGCE certificate sent down from Durban to Cape Town after having been told that they would communicate with me as to when I could collect my certificate in Cape Town... now it is back in Durban? I can't get through to Stadio and whoever I call doesn't answer, it is very frustrating.
From the get go I have had nothing short from only the highest quality of assistance from STADIO University. Distance learning is not just challenging for students, but also for the lectures and especially the IT dependent who is flooded with students that are experiencing one or other problem. But they are nothing short from making themselves available to assist. They have done an excellent job with providing students with the best possible program for distance learning. STADIO, in my opinion, definitely has the best of the best. Thank you STADIO
I have been studying a post-grad certificate through Stadio and it is THE most frustrating experience ever. Emails to Student Support only gets answered in 2-6 days and then the replies don't actually solve problems - they make it sound like you don't know what you are doing. Their online study platform is not being used consistently by lecturers and lecturers don't answer emails back. In our student whatsapp group 90% of us feel very frustrated and like we should have studied somewhere else. It feels like driving into a brick wall!!
I’m registered at Stadio but I want to enquire about the modules I’m registered for. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them by calling but no one has been picking up my calls & I’ve been calling for the past 2 days. I am not pleased with this.
I don't think this campus needs any stars at all. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. WILL NOT RECOMMEND so please, I would advise any parent to save their money as this has turned into a whole money making and no deliver college. STADIO is the most unorganized college that I have ever come across and it is disgusting, however, when it comes to payments then they are wide awake and ready for demands. STADIO Bellville campus has also started de-grading their students by giving them the ultimatum of dropping out when they are not at their best instead of motivating them. So many students are experiencing the same thing and it is just sad. Ever since STADIO took over from Prestige, everything has just gone down hill and there is no coming back from that. Students struggle to get through to their support systems let alone, when they are in desperate need of help. The lecturers are confused about how things are being run. Students don't know which way to turn either because who is there to help. The list of why NOT to choose STADIO can continue but I'd spare the viewers eyes. Dear parents: I would strongly advise that you not register your child at STADIO Bellville campus, for any Commerce program or School of commerce as a whole. Your child will be degraded and your money will be wasted.
