What a gem of a place. Beautiful decor, private booths with a TV to dine and watch sport. Variety of beers on tap. Big menu. Great service. Can't wait for a franchise to open in Gauteng
All in all good food and good service, but I do get the feeling that the standard has dropped just slightly. The waiters are not as neat as they used to be and they come across blunt and not friendly and helpful. The overall "family restaurant" vibe is also lacking.
To few waiters. We were roughly 50 people in Friday that came in for drinks and food, but waited long. Everything else was great thanks. We will come again.Food: 4/5
This is a beauty of a rustic place!!! The inner restaurant leads to a bridge that's cross over to a large market type area filled with wooden picnic tables. This special day we have live music as well. They have a great gin menu with many infusions to choose from. As well as a craft beer section. Definitely a must do! Food menu great too with a variety for all tastes. Great place to bring a bridesmaid or baby shower. The space is large enough for a party without affecting the entire venue. Service was friendly and timely. Food portions are fantastic and priced well. We had ordered bacon and avo pizza, chicken schnitzel, garlic salami pizza and a salad that could feed two!!!!
I order an Eish pizza with pineapple and chilli as extra toppings. The pizza came back with jalapeno instead of chilli and I asked for it to be corrected. The waitress brought back the pizza and the jalapeno was removed. The waitress reassured us that the chilli was indeed added and was under the cheese should've known it was a lie. I was very disappointed when I got home and found that there was no chilli and I still got charged for it.
Slow service. Expensive. The kids had a great time though as they could play in the indoors playground. The R60 fee per child was a bit much for the small amount of time we spent there. Kid-friendliness: Great for the kids
First time there, super friendly staff and such a nice bar tender made us all laugh, will recommend
Very friendly and helpful staff. Listen in detail to your requests and requirements. I ordered the Cheddarmelt Mushroom Chicken Schnitzel and it was as advertised. Cheese sauce with mushrooms, not often that you get that, and the portion was human related and not beast as at some other places that you can't finish it.
