The Eldos Arts n Jazz Festival is a celebration pieced together with a variety of arts performed and displayed in the Eldorado Park community.
The Eldos Arts and Jazz Festival, considered the most diverse festival in Johannesburg, has done it again, and this year we take it up a notch. This fast growing, community festival has been entertaining music and art lovers for 10 consecutive years and has been fortunate enough to host some of South Africa’s most prestige performers and artists over the years.
For our 11th year, EAJF 2016 has presented the opportunity for our most loyal local supporters to be a part of the festival and thus we are proud to announce that we have a program filled with home grown and international faces from all corners of the entertainments industry.
With local industry heavy weights like #IJUSTWANAPLAY’s Joshua Zacheus on drums and award winning funny man, Dillan Oliphant in The Goliath Comedy show, the arts festival has not shied away from pulling all the stops. Covering small stage theatre, comedy, cultural dance, performance arts and contemporary jazz, this festival is jam-packed with activities and entertainment for everyone.
The week long arts festival kicks off on 30 August 2016 and concludes the first phase of the festival on 4 September 2016 while allowing phase two of the festival to prepare for the massive finale.
After receiving a record high of 25000 supporters at our 2015 festival finale, we at EAJF are more than excited to get this show on the road. The music festival which kicks into gear at 12H00 on 18 September 2016, has introduced many upgrades to the festivals look and feel.
