Engen petrol diesel as well, Woolworths plus convenience shop as well as the bonus of a KFC drive thorough right next door. Loads of ample parking to the sidenot in front of store undercover, which can make life difficult in bad weather. Staff are organized and friendly and they have a number of pumps-although when there is a rush, be aware, it is fed by 2 main roads so can be packed! Also only has decent access from one side of the road-so if you have missed the turn you would have to go around the block.

If Woolworths thinks it is okay to have this garage on their list of Franchisees - think again. It is not okay for a cashier NOT to give you the correct change when paying with cash. On 3 occasions I have experienced the incorrect change being given to me and never to my advantage !! To the management of this shop - ensure that you have the correct change or CHANGE YOUR PRICES in order to not have to give the correct change..98 cents and 99 cent prices are so last century. Mister Solomon - the Cashier - was quite insulted that I insisted on getting my correct change and laughed in the face of the very client who supports his place of employment and who pays his salary. Like a mere 6 cents is a huge problem in my life and not his. This is not the way we do business Solomon. If you worked for me you would have had a disciplinary hearing and a severe warning for alienating my clients who pay towards your salary. If your shop wants to short change every single client who walks in there - put up a sign saying that you will not get the correct change. Do not just presume that is okay.
Generally I would give the service at this garage 5 Stars, but today Wednesday 6 November 2019, at 06.05 a.m. I was really disappointed. I went to fill up with petrol. Khubekha honestly did not check my water and oil despite saying he did because it was done in 1 minute - no filling up even of my water reservoir. When the petrol had reached "auto fill up" he asked if I was happy with that and I got the feeling it would be too much effort to ask him to keep going a little! At no stage were my windows washed - and they were filthy. It was a case of paying and go. I have never left without tipping, but today I did - and I was also in a bad mood when I left. I hope it was just a case of a bad day on his behalf, but even his colleague did not assist with the windows with is what normally happens. I'll give it another try, but have to say my start to my day was disappointing.
PLEASE avoid this garage! I put in R100 petrol on Monday night and my gauge barely moved, I didn't expect miracles but I expected some movement since I have a small tank. I thought maybe my tank was being slow in registering the petrol, fast forward to Wednesday when I almost stand still because my tank was empty, so I put in R150 and my gauge immediately moved to a quarter tank, I highly doubt that R50 extra made such a huge difference... They are doing something dodgy and taking your money without giving you what you paid for. DISGUSTING! Please see the photos below.
Had a flat tyre at 10.30pm. When I asked for help the staff gave me the number for a tow truck, where are the days when a petrol jockey would help change the wheel. I couldn't change the tyre myself I'm a middle aged woman. I decided to leave my car there and Uber back in the morning with someone to help me. The staff told me to move my car cause I couldn't park it there. Not kidding, this actually happened.
This Engen is closed down… save your time and choose a different Engen spots
The petrol attendants are courteous and friendly. The convenience store has a Woolies and it decently stocked.
2nd time I had to play the 'waiting game' with fuel attendants who were doing nothing but looking totally confused - very bad service, refused to give me owners contact number
Great Engen and Woolworths combo. Friendly staff and some great food choices for someone looking for a quick bite.
