The fueling station is great as an all round stop for all your fast food runs and fueling needs. They do however sometimes run out of certain fuels making it inconvenient. The bathrooms could be better.
The service by the pumps is slow, the pump attendants are selective with who they help. The convenience store is pricey and staff are more worried about their personal conversations than service.
We had a terrible experience this morning, the bathrooms were shockingly disgusting. You would expect them to be clean, especially in the morning. There are also beggers in the parking area who pretend to be car guards and hover super close to you and make you very uncomfortable.
Did not like the service I received tonight.Cashiers talking to one another and does not really care about the customer service..and the cashier that assisted me was rude!!
The worst engen every. People not properly trained and the manager is also the worst. Please advise why the unemployed is nearly 60% and you hire people that does not want to work.
Coming from Golela/Lavumisa border post going home to Johannesburg via N2 I got lost in Ermelo and ended up at Engen, I drank the most delicious coffee ever with croissants to die for. The place was clean and the staff was friendly!
They have not only a cafe bit also on the same premises a bakery that sells delicious baked goods. Called Jam Drop.
Waited for service just to fill fuel more than 10 min so ended up going to another garage
No Generator for pumps so be prepared to drive past to Sasol or Total
Bought a steers burger meal the chips were so badly burnt and old I just couldn't understand how they serve food like this. I'm at Ermelo for a business trip grabbing a quick lunch... So dissatisfied
