Great venue for large events like Monster jam! Loved the seats we had and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Only negatives are that the sound from the commentators were terrible and we could not hear a word they were saying and the food services at the back are also not equipped to handle the large crowds are we were stading in que's for more than an hour just to be helped. For sure something to look into.
Great stadium to host massive events, it even provides some protection against weather for an open venue. I would strongly suggest creating a pin for where you park, the circular design makes it difficult to retrace your steps.
The atmosphere when Pirates and Chiefs play is unmatched. I had fun my team won. You can create friends, United the different classes of people.
The stadium is Clean . Seems safe enough to me Securities are helpful. The Guys who are at grass parking they take chances, they are asking for money before parking and After. Traffic After the match is not controllable but the Panyaza Lesufi... Cops they tried shame. Not enough proper parking space
Was there for the Imagine Dragons show. It was amazing! Only bad things was that we were waiting in the line to buy food, waited an hour and left without food when the show started. Also when we were leaving, walking back to the busses, the gates were locked and we had to wait quite a while for it to be opened. But the show was stunning.
Great atmosphere. However, the game was boring. There's really nothing to talk about today. Security at the stadium is very bad, and this goes to show why our country is in a bad state. Crowd control is awful, and putting one security guard against 5000 people says a lot. I fear that one day they'll be a tragedy, and who's going to account for it?
We were there for Monster Jam 2023. The venue was a little disorganised this time around but we still had fun.
Great stadium, can get very congested when entering or exiting the stadium especially when there are lager amounts of people. Food and beverages are sold before seating during events as you enter the stadium. Concerts do not allow water bottles or alcohol into the stadium. Prices can be inflated and sometimes seem unreasonable, when purchasing alcohol once inside the stadium it's recommended to you seat before it's gets to full as the seats themselves do not offer much space to get in and out of the rows. This is not like the movie house where you have more room to move in and out the rows. Wonderful experience for sports events or concerts as seen in the images during an Imagine Dragons live concert. Also I recommend taking the bus using the Park and Ride facility as the cars start filling up the roads which makes things difficult to get in and out once it starts filling up with people. No umbrellas allowed either. Bring a rain jacket instead.
Great stadium biggest in Africa a d well constructed easy to get around and user friendly for all
We went there for a concert, event was well organised and police presence made it safe for the patrons and they assisted with the traffic control. Parking areas are a bit of a walking distance but it's understandable for a 95k capacity stadium. Overall the stadium facilities were satisfactory even though some areas need maintaining here and there.
