El estadio Orlando es un estadio de fútbol que se encuentra en Soweto, Sudáfrica. Fue inaugurado en 2008 y tiene una capacidad de 46.000 personas.HistoriaEl Estadio Orlando fue inaugurado el 2 de mayo de 1959 y tenía una aforo de 24000 personas.El 3 de mayo de 2006 fue demolido y se iniciaron las obras de construcción, por parte de las empresas Platinum Sports Consulting, Afro Architectural y WMS Architects, con un coste de 280.000.000 rands. Fue inaugurado el 22 de noviembre de 2008 y cuenta con 40000 localidades, 120 suites (dos de ellas VIP), salas de conferencias, aparcamiento de 2500 plazas, un gimnasio, tiendas y oficinas. Se utiliza habitualmente para la práctica de fútbol, aunque en ocasiones también ha servido para disputar partidos de rugby y realizar conciertos.Se usó como centro de entrenamiento en la Copa Mundial de Fútbol de 2010, del mismo modo que en la Copa FIFA Confederaciones 2009. Great experience at the Orlando Stadium... the energy of having the crowd back in the stadium elevates the game to another level. It was electrifying to say the least. There was an afternoon match and evening match - the location was stunning as the sunset and the  evening lights glittered in the cool evening breeze. Great hospitality from Stadium staff and security. Enjoyed my time at the Stadium

Great venue for the locals. An electric atmosphere coupled with a great community. Even better when the home team Orlando Pirates plays. Perfect for family, couples and more especially football lovers.

Beside being a pirates fan. I like Orlando Stadium,  it have a little close up which is good for shadow when it's hot. The service is fine. Good parking and everything, it gets too packed better arrive early.

Awesome atmosphere quick to get out and a mission buying beer food isn't to bad at all.

It was so much fun but Pirates and Sundowns had a of draw 0-0

Soccer city’s little sister. Amazing atmosphere in the heart of Orlando. Epic!
