I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the online service of Evergreens Pretoria. I don't understand a whole company can have just 1 go-to person for online sales. NO invoicing for delivery charges. I tried to contact their customer service representative, Phineas, but he was very unresponsive and unprofessional. He did not answer my calls or emails, and when he finally did, he gave me vague and contradictory information.When I contacted their finance department to sort out the issue, they were very rude and dismissive. After waiting for more than a week and reaching out to them again, they inform me that there was an error in their finance department that caused the delay. They did not apologize or offer any reparations. They also did not give me a clear timeline of when I would receive my refund I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and accountability of Evergreens Pretoria online service. They have wasted my time and money, and caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience. They have shown no respect or care for their customers.
This use to be one of our favorite establishments, but it has taken a turn for the worse the last year. We have bought from them since I was a child and we started using their delivery service during lockdown and was super happy with the service, however the last 4 deliveries have been a mess, double charging delivery, sending wrong products or no product at all and goods getting damaged during delivery. All of which was not a problem in the past. Sadly we wont be supporting them anymore and can not recommend them to anyone either. It is very sad to see such a establishment I've known my whole life falling apart.
I have been purchasing my fresh produce from Evergreens, I think for the past 6 -7 years now. I have been very happy thus far, except for the eggs I bought about a week or two ago 60 eggs extra large eggs. Half of the tray was rotten, we had to throw it away! I unfortunately could not return this as I lost the receipt. I am really very disappointed and will not be purchasing eggs at your store ever again.
I had an exciting experience shopping at Evergreen Market. The market has fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, freshly baked goods, spices, sauces and everything on one's grocery list. You can also buy in bulks when you need to. I definitely recommend shopping at Evergreen Fresh Market
This place has really well food but they need to update there signs... I just got chased away for trying to bring cool drink into the store but there sign is hidden. The no smokers sign has to say how far from the entrance. To the owners of this store update your signs and make it visible.
The fruits and vegetables are fresh and taste great. The layout of the store is convenient and makes the shopping experience great. The baked goods and deli food are delicious. You should most definitely try their milk tarts, they are a 10/10
They are the best when it comes to fruits and vegetables at affordable prices. Their store is always super clean.
I love Evergreen...it is easily accessible, you get everything you love and need.... I love their Cakes
Steak and kidney pies were on the edge of being BAD BAD!!!!! Watermelon was sour they cut a whole in half......rest is reasonable!!!!
