Fahad Game Reserve is one of the largest privately owned game reserves in the Limpopo River Valley, covering an area of over 10’000 hectares. It is located 60km North of Ellisras-Lephalale and the Waterberg Mountains, at the Mokolo and Limpopo river confluence. We offer four luxury lodges, spectacular African Bushveld and 20 kilometres of riverine vegetation. We pride ourselves on offering a private, cherished, imaginative and unique tourist experience.
Only 3 hours from Pretoria, Fahad is Malaria free and ideal if you need to spend time with Africa. You can view over 20 species of antelope, Buffalo and the rare Sable and we have more than 400 listed bird species – many along the River - Hippo and the famous Nile crocodile. Scarce predators like Cheetah, Leopard and Brown Hyena tread our bush. Other sighting may include the elusive aardvark, aardwolf, pangolin and porcupine.

Unlike most luxury reserves, we welcome children. In fact we want Fahad to be a stimulating place for families and we want to make the next generation enthusiastic about conservation and the African Bushveld. We offer a save environment and reduced rates for children and they are welcome on all game drives – this is their Bushveld too!
