We didn't stay over but had the most amazing ribs and pizza. The place is neat and clean and the staff very friendly. I hope one day to stay over in the camp near the river as it looked absolutely stunning

The place is located in the best place you can think of but the owner as in the wife is against black customers in every way, I just don't want to say she's racist but as soon as she sees the white customers she chases away black customers and tells them she can't sell anything to them.Rooms: 1/5

What a surprise hidden so close to the border. We had a lovely stay-over during September 2022. Host and staff were great. Facilities awesome and the dinner was scrumptious. Will definitely recommend Stockpoort Border Lodge!Rooms: 4/5

Great food, great post. Willem and Wanda is wonderful host. Very informed about the area and the history of the area. Rooms are well maintained and all the required elements for a lovely stay os there. Even heared lions in the morning from my room in the distance.Rooms: 4/5

Of late, the chef, lacks morals, there was on the 20th of August 2022, right on venue and on duty at about 17:50 and presiding over a function that was running. The chef denied serving black people,if I may say takeaway food. The chef claimed having finished preparing food and was not bothered by any further passer-bys. Surprisingly, a few other white guest pleaded with the chef to the conscience of humanity, but were told that the facility was fully booked for the day even though the gates were only to be closed on the next day. We had to go out to beg for food from farmworkers, elsewhere, despite having our own credit cards.

Well kept sleep over. Staff extremely friendly. Chalet is small but need and clean and the air conditioning a pleasure. The food at the restaurant is fresh and served with a smile. Pricing is affordable and well priced for the experience.

Amazing! It is absolutely lovely! A wonderful relaxing environment, very friendly staff, very nice rooms and food! Very beautiful place with the animals roaming freely. Very convenient and close to the border, wonderful for an overnight between SA and Botswana, or even for a weekend getaway! Highly recommended!

New owners are putting in huge effort and energy into revamping and building up this amazing little lodge, that was neglected in the past. Great food, friendly service, newly renovated rooms. Give them a little more time and it will be a real gem. Perfect stop over en route to Botswana.

We stayed there a year ago and again in december. The new owners have really made some serious changes to the place and the shortcomings it had. Its a border post in the middle of nowhere, dont expect a Raddison dinner but expect the best someone in the bush can give you. the owner will assist with any strange request you may have.
