FairBridge Mall

This seems like a sophisticated mall that scores above average for its design and accessibility. It remains popular despite the fact that there is a bigger mall close by. The building has a striking design and inside it feels airy and light, which gives a good shopping experience. The main anchor tenant is no doubt the Checkers store which dominates the mall, but there is a wide variety of stores for most of the grocery shopping needs. Parking is plentiful, but there is no underground nor covered parking and that can leave you pretty exposed on rainy days. Bathrooms are in good condition and well-maintained.

Fairbridge Mall, Brackenfell. There is no doubt that the newly renovated mall is stunning and a massive improvement from the way it was before. I have been a customer for many many years, way back when the mall was just mediocre in style and looks. It is now modern and beautiful. The mall is awesome with its friendly staff but I have two incidences that has put a bit of a damper on my shopping experience. However this has nothing to do with the mall itself or the service that it renders. The first incident was many years ago when the mall had a big wheel on its premises and that didn’t turn out too well. The last incident was in January when I lost my brand new, gold bday earring in the mall. Unfortunately I cannot blame the mall for this so I still score them 5

Great little big mall. Space to move even on busy days! I took 2 stars off because the only entrance on the one side of the mall. The old mall had an entrance on both sides, and that was awesome. Now if you park on the other side, people, especially older people have to walk really far!

Checkers revamped store is a pleasure to shop in. The sitdown restaurant instore serves amongst other items on the menu coffee and a giant muffin for 29.99. I had 2 pancakes 10.00 with a mango juice. Store is clean and has a modern feel to it.love the variety of cheeses.

Changed alot. Really cool now. The only thing that gets to me is the checkers 6060 racecar trolly drivers that make you feel like you are the one in their space. Slow down guys and get out of the way. Don't forget you work there. We don't need to be there.

This is the flagship Checkers Warehouse store in the same building as their head office, and even has Lindt chocolate, Starbucks coffee and Kauai stores within the store ! However some items are still hard to find due to store layout

The old Fairbridge Mall had a 2 star. Now a 5 star. Absolutely incredible premises. Doesn't feel like walking in a ghost town anymore. Great shops and expect many more to join in. Well done to the design team.

Big changes since my last visit. Entrance movedtk the front. Parking space works better. Very nice checkers hyper. Feels very open. Outside shops have a uniform but neat look.

Nice mall! The checkers has all you need and more it's huge and the other stores are also great

Normal small mall and large Checker Hyper. Tight and small parking, no motorcycle parking. Leave your bike at home. Beware the horde of Kamikazi 60/60 motorcycles. There are lots of them in the tiny parking lot. The rest of the huge parking lot is either fenced off and unused on one side or taken up by Shoprite staff on the other. Don't bother coming here during peak hours.
