Dear City of Cape Town, Would simply like to share a massive Thank You for a recent experience at the City’s Civic Centre Customer Care Walk In Centre. The Walk In Centre was incredibly well organised, well run and all the staff were friendly and helpful and really created an enjoyable environment for citizens. The whole experience at the Civic Centre Customer Care Walk In Centre was so positive, it completely changed my perception of dealing with an Electricity Accounts Admin task and look forward to going back again in future! Your staff don’t have manners, doesn’t greet and doesn’t acknowledge customers. Then want to argue and make excuses when you call them out about it. Specifically the car license renewal department a C R Masemola.
Won’t allow you to park in the civic center to go to the motor Licence department in the building, but you’re allowed if you’re going to Artscape next door?, also long slow queues, why not make it more difficult for people that want to pay you money
What a day at Civic center we had today it was just a wow
Bring your own pens!!! You can get your car registration done here. The government need to take time and put some effort here. The customer service isn’t that good although the security guard seemed to be helpful. Don’t come here expecting a quick pop in. There are no pens!!
Your service is very poor as special late to go home no busses all the busses are stark in kuyasa

Always friendly staff. They change the waiting benches from aluminium to padded. Scored some high points there for me. As one can sit a while at times. The scenic Table Mountain View always breathtaking!
I've visited the civic centre twice in the last 6 months to renew licenses and apply for other motor related documents; on both occasions the service was outstanding and the receivers were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. A Mr Gando assisted me on my last visit and he was really excellent. Thank you to the team for doing such a great job, i'm sure many appreciate it. Keep up the great work!
