From 5 star, downgraded to 1 star. Just because of your carwash. From 90 rand for an suv is up to 140? In a months time? Are you guys insane? Do you guys use Woolworth water to wash the cars??? Been supporting you for 6 years. No more. I came to whynotte garage up the road from you. 90 rand for the same caswash. And they have lovely facilities too.Let's not even talk about the fact that your guys only wash the car nicely if you offer them some extra cash! Goodbye engen fairway! Car wash is ridiculously expensive for Durban North, R80 upwards for a simple wash and wipe, not even full house, staff in the car wash are rude and obnoxious, there's no clear direction once you've paid and driven into the car wash except staff tapping rudely on the glass of your vehicle on where to go or stop, they don't even wash the vehicle properly since they're in a hurry like you're wasting their time, the staff who wipe down the vehicles are equally rude, they wipe down the vehicle half-arsed in the same areas that their colleagues forgot to wash like the side skirts and front bumper where you can physically see the dirt on the vehicle but they can't, so when you get angry and tell them you paid so much for the wash, they get a guy with a spray bottle of detergent to spray and clean up the missed spots. I would highly not recommend this car wash to any one since the service is terrible just as their attitudes.
The car wash is ridiculously expensive and further to that you’ll have guys at every bay requesting extra money for “extras”. The wash bay guys ask if you want a “special chemical” at a cost ofcourse and then you have the guys who wipe ask if you want a “special polish” at a cost ofcourse. These extra costs are in addition to the premium price of R120. The last straw was when I refused the “special chemical” and the “special polish” and the guy said my car won’t be properly cleaned, before he even started wiping it. I responded and asked him what’s the point of paying the R120 if my car won’t be properly cleaned?! I’m done with this car wash, thanks but no thanks!
Absolutely terrible. For R120 it's a complete waste of money and time. My 4 year old son can do a better job. Dirt spots all around the car and this is after the manager spoke to them immediately after I came out the washing bay. I will never be going there again. For R60 the BP in Chris Hani road does a superb job. 100 times better than this place.
Car wash facility is below average. The wash is good. But the vacume and wipe guys are super slow. It takes them at least 3 minutes to wipe 1 mirror should take 15 seconds and 5 minutes to wipe a dashboard should take 40 seconds. Management should stand under a tree one day and just observe the time wasting. But I bet Management will ask me for proof, like a Screencast of the incident. Even if I had that, would it make a difference? No
Have been to the car wash on many occasions but yesterday I was very disappointed at the full house wash I received 17/1/2023. After being told my car was ready and tipping them. I found bird droppings on my bonnet and on the roof. It appears car wash guys did a poor job and the finishing guys chose to ignor them, and I had to point it out. Lack of supervision and quality control seems to be the problem. Guys who don't care does not help. Shame I like going there.
I had forgotten to get my vehicle clean over the weekend, it was in a terrible state and needed some solid cleaning before I could pick up a colleague who travelled from Johannesburg the past Monday. I normally fill up at this Garage but have never used their carwash services. I was assisted by a bunch of guys, all who greeted heartly. After the vehicle was washed, I proceeded to the drying/vacuuming station and there, I was by two gentlemen however I only struck conversation with one Lindo Mkhize who looked the condition of my rims and remarked that my rims seemed to be rusting, after been informed that it had turned colour due to the brake dust and despite my best efforts, I bearly made a dent in cleanup. Lindo then proceeded to gather some sand and used the special spray and proceeded to work on the cleanup... amazingly, after a few moments of allowing the mixture to mature, he started to working it. Immediate improvement could be observed. I am so appreciative of Lindo's proactive gesture to improve my vehicles outlook. Because of this gesture, I shall returning for future services.
2 years ago my review was 5 stars and that it was a great car wash, and that they always do a thorough job! Today I am updating my review to 2 stars because R140 for a car wash is excessive. Sadly I will be going elsewhere from now on.
I use this Car Wash facility always. This morning was the 2nd time my car was not "cleaned" properly. The 1st time, I drove back to have them vacuum between the seats and gearbox because they did not vacuum there. This morning I rush home because I have my toddler with me and did an inspection only to realize that my car was not washed at the foaming station. They sprayed the foam and rinsed. Unfortunately I did not take pictures because I am so busy today and shouldn't have to be coming home with a dirt car straight after a car wash service. For R100 on a Kia Picanto Smart I don't see the difficulty in doing a proper job the 1st time. I cannot keep driving back to have the job done properly so this morning I just wiped down my car myself because as I just stated I am very busy today. This is strike 2.
Definitely a class above the rest. Have been a regular customer here for more than 4 years. From the petrol attendants, car wash guys and staff in side the shop nothing but world class service. The owners/managers always in ear shot and niggles and complaints are dealt with very professionally. Today, I shared 27 Steers Egg Buns with extra egg with all my friends in the car wash. Great feeling !!!
