We had a lovely family picnic in this tranquil setting. Short hike to visit the waterfall was most enjoyable. Really worth the time spent!
It's wonderful to have such amazing place. Bird life lots of nice places to sit relax have bite to eat. Good idea no bins so please make sure you rake your rubbish home.
The nursery is small but tries hard, and the overall mission is something we should all support. The nature reserve accounts for 0.002% of the Western Cape yet boasts 18% of its flora. The diversity of the fynbos is staggering. The plants are waterwise and give a stunning display of colours. The botanical gardens, the hiking trails up to the 3 dams and the nursery make this a beautiful quick visit or a family day out.
Excellent advice and customer service! Amazing fynbos plants. I ordered some plants for friends to pick up, everything was ready when they got there. Well done and thank you to Debbie and the volunteers and team.
South Africa has the most diverse and the most beautiful flowers and plants in the world. Fernkloof has fantastic displays of our indigenous plants and flowers. The animal and bird life in Fernkloof area is undisturbed by us Humans and our modernised lifestyle. A wonderful place to visit and enjoy.
Fernkloof is a privilege to visit. Soul food. Peaceful, relaxing, nature's music of bird songs, indigenous fauna, flora, animals in the heart of suburbia.
Fantastic place in the shade for a quiet picnic.
A beautiful hidden gem. Was super excited to start shopping, unfortunately we were met with very unfriendly almost rude staff. I suggest that they brush up on their people skills. A real disappointment.
Excellent bird watching. Trails for the more fit and Gardens for the not so...
Plants looked lovely, shame about the dreadfully rude staff. Go there looking like a gardener if you want to be treated with any respect.
