Lovely place love the butchery products, Love the bakery products too but please be consistent on your whole wheat bread, lovely seads, color and shape today, the next day funny shape white in color than the normal brown color. I drive 5km just to buy your bread please don't disappoint.
Always a wonderful experience to visit Food lovers. Kindly clean the trays used to make Oumas bread, often. The burnt crumbs from previous days' baking doesn't taste or look good on the bread.
This food lovers literally sells you rotten and off vegetables at high prices disgusting, I happened to be visiting thus area and figured why not go to food lovers and buy some groceries... safe to say never going there again. The donuts were nice though.
When I asked the manager of the shop why they are returning bags that fall on the floor and items from the floor back to the original package he replied that he will not take action. Mr Nel also told me that gloves are out of fashion and hygiene is now a thing of the past. For your info Mr. Nel I have downloaded the gazette and not only are you overstepping the line with non-compliance on gloves but you are not allowed to leave the meat open the way you do for flies to sit on all day. You also leave cooked food for the entire day which you have to dispose of after an hour. You do not have 1 qualification as a manager only a big mouth and you sell meat that is off to the public. Look at all your complaints about meat that is off. You do not train your staff and you wash off the old meat and repack the meat for the public to buy. Ever asked yourself why people get so sick? Because of you and your clang. I am organizing a surprise for you
Always a pleasure to visit Food Lovers Market at Park Meadows! A big store this with many choices. Neat and tidy to and so far very friendly staff. The lady at the biltong bar went out of her way to help us. From vegetables to healthy food products to meat this really is a treat to go there. Only down side to this store is that you end up spending more that you needed to because of so so many good things your eyes see. Keep it up guys!
Yesterday there was a lady that spoke out about meat being served with hands and no gloves. Plastic bags falling on the floor were being used again. How disgusting. This lady spoke to the manager and he was dismissing her like a piece of rubbish. How dare he make the public sick. How dare you make money out of corruption like this? You want to save a plastic bag and kill people with pathogens. Shame, are you not rich enough? YOU SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR WANTING TO DO THIS TO PEOPLE
Vegies are well priced and the variety is great. The bakery has some really nice options. I found the meat is definitely more expensive than most other shops as are a lot of the normal grocery products on their shelves. Otherwise an overall clean and decent shop.
Giving one star rating this around as if there was a negative star that is ehst i would have rated their service. Went for breakfast at FLM Greenstone and sat in the middle of the restaurant. There were not many tables being sat at but the servers just walked around us as though we didn't exist. Not one came over and offered us a menu or asked us for anything to drink. After tolerating being ignored for 20 minutes we got up pushing back or chairs deliberately making a noise yet still no one approached us. Not even the daily manager had the decency to come over and ask why we had left. So we left in disgust and went to another restaurant close by, where we had had great service and a very good breakfast. Goodbye Food Lovers Market you won't see us again and anyone else that we convey our experience to!!!!!!!!! BIG THUMBS DOWN
Stopped by here to have a quick bite... ordered a burger with bacon and avo and to my surprise I got this monstrosity of a burger!!! It was amazing and exceeded my expectations by quite a stretch! The store is pretty awesome too, well laid out, clean with attentive staff and security.
I get my fresh dairy, vegetables, fruits and meat here, and oow yes they have the best "eggs special" always.
