Wow!!! Absolutely brilliant service and very friendly staff. I had many questions on the purchase of my first digital SLR camera and every single last one was answered in a very professional manner. I ordered a Instax mini Evo.  Foto Discount world gave me the best price on the package I received contained a case for the camera and some film. I also ordered extra film because they are not so expensive then what other places are selling them for.  Delivery was quick, I ordered my device on Monday and received it on Wednesday and it arrived in good packaging and the device was in great condition.  I Would definitely recommend them.

I am very happy with their service and their prices. I did have a previous "unhappy" experience with FDW with stock shortages and delays, however decided to try another purchase with them after many years, as I have continually found them to have the cheapest prices during my online search for products.  My most recent purchase with them was ultra- smooth and very prompt, and I received the ordered item the very next day in Carletonville, an outlying area.   Based on my past not so happy and recent VERY HAPPY experience with FDW, I would recommend that for those who are in a rush & need their purchases to be delivered quickly, it's best to confirm stock by calling them prior to purchase to avoid delay and disappointment.  Their website is very user-friendly and generally does inform of stock delays and shortages, but it's still best to confirm timelines prior to purchase factoring that most camera equipment is imported.  Thank to Gert for helping me during my purchase. I will definitely be purchasing from FDW again and I highly recommend them.

I have been e-mailing them and the response was very quick. I have been buying here now for many years and there service has always been great. Happy  with Foto Discount World and will always support them. Very secure new premises makes me feel very safe. They have great prices on all there products.

At fist I was extremely unsure about purchasing online from a company that I have not done business with before considering I live in a different province, but as they were the only company that stocked the item I required I took the risk. I was then asked to do an EFT payment and given the option of 3 bank accounts which concerned me but yet again I took a risk. IT PAID OFF!!!! The service following was exceptional! I was kept apprised of the delivery almost on a daily basis via email. Not once did I need to follow up on my delivery as I received updates throughout the entire process.  Exceptional service!!

I have been emailing them to the email on their online store but they never reply back.  Send 2 more emails and still no response from them!  I am after the Canon M50 camera with Vlogger Kit and I must know if they have stock!  Well it just shows they don't care for business their bad!

I purchased a Lens from Foto Discount world on the 30 October. It is a Canon EF 100-400 mm f405 L is Mk II. I was told it should be delivered within a week. This is now over two weeks later and I still have not received my lens. Please expedite. Thanks so much for sorting out the issue with Canon SA slow delivery. I am very happy with my new lens.

I am beyond satisfied with Foto Discount World!!!  I wanted to purchase the Canon Eos 6D Mark II online.  I saw that it was on backorder, so I went into the store to get more information on the situation.  The very friendly and well-informed salesman Phillip Turnbull with very good knowledge of all of their products immediately ordered my camera from Canon South Africa.  The order was placed 18 May 2022.  On the 20th of May 2022 I had my camera delivered to me!  I could not believe how fast and efficient they delivered on their promise.  Big thanks to the owner Wynand van Niekerk for the settings he suggested for my specific type of photography,  you know your stuff!
