Realy nice to see some culture. The restaurant and bar was closed, but still worth a walk. Friendly staff, but no guides to walk you through the park. It was clean and safe.
We had a greater time attending the Annual Ubuntu Festival The atmosphere was amazing This is a must visit site.
It's really a tiresome walk to the actual venue especially for senior citizens or people with handicaps a private golf cart was available at a cost unfortunately I don't suggest the elderly visit this venue without support or being accompanied by others whom van assist The rest of the venue is OK but it seems neglected if you just look there are no SA flags up as a proud nation whom believes in reconciliation at the very least one would expect the SA flag hoisted this was not the case on the last Freedom Day we celebrated there. Making people walk up all that way when the drop off point could've easily been at the parking at top, really it wasn't nice. But otherwise a beautiful day
What an incredible experience seeing all the different faiths and peoples groups represented with the heroes and martyrs if south Africa. The fight for freedom and equality that is still passionately pushing people to make Africa a true paradise. The museum and the gardens are astounding, rich history explained well. A must visit when in Africa.
This is one of the best places in Pretoria, you will enjoy every second spend there. I like how our African culture and origin is portrait and respected. It has a breathtaking view of the whole of Pretoria. Put on your comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk
It was a great, educational, and informative experience for me. There is so much information about South Africa, the neighbouring countries and African Continent. I definitely recommend visits to Freedom Park.
Beautiful place, well looked after, clean and safe
Wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon
Great family day out at this heritage site. It's beautifully designed and the staff are so insightful. I would highly recommend going for a visit!
