The only positive here were the staff who worked like Trojans to try and compensate for the poor management conditions they had to work under. On one of the busiest days of the culinary calendar, the owner wasn't present. The starters were served in a buffet style, but frequently ran out and the time taken to replenish them was, quite frankly, absurd. Likewise, when the mains eventually arrived, they were cold, and completely underwhelming at best. And if you happen to be a vegetarian/vegan, you'll be rewarded with a plate of raw cauliflower. I kid you not. It is an absolute insult to charge R350 per person. The best part of this restaurant was getting in our car and leaving.

Venue wasn't capable of handling the capacity that they took reservations for, long waits for poor quality food with very little in the way of selection. The staff that were there tried, but we're hopelessly overworked. The buffet starters ran out several times with the plates mostly bare for the majority of the time, and the main course was mediocre.

We were a table of about 20 people. Service was extremely slow and food was just average.  The place is lovely but bathrooms are full of mosquitoes. Will come again and hope to have a better experience

Nice enough but limited menu. Lots of flies due to proximity to stables and horses. Expensive.

The best and most relaxing way to get away from the city, enjoy the outdoors, and have some good food in the bargain!
